Two women can have the SAME bust measurement and still need completely different bodice patterns.

Same circumference doesn't mean same:
✍️torso length
✍️bust position
✍️shoulder width
✍️bust span
✍️front/back proportion
✍️body distribution

This is why pattern fitting requires more than simply plugging measurements into a formula.

Sometimes it isn't even the measurement.
The real problem may be hiding in the pattern balance, body proportion or the way the correction was made.

Stop using one trouser template for everybody!
A size 10 isn't simply a smaller size 20.
Body proportions change.
Tummy.
Hips.
Thighs.
Seat.

A pattern that fits one person perfectly can pull at another person's tummy, feel tight around the thighs, gape at the waist, or give excess fabric at the back.

Two people can have the same waist and hip measurement but completely different bodies.
One may have:

• A protruding tummy
• Fuller hips
• Smaller hips
• Fuller thighs
• A fuller seat
• A flatter seat

So why should they all be forced into one trouser template?
