š The takes on football X are getting wild ā and this one might be up there. The idea that Liam Rosenior would walk into Chelsea and immediately bench Enzo FernĆ”ndez for Andrey Santos sounds good for engagement, but it makes zero football sense. Letās be serious for a second ā this is pure disrespect to a player who is already Premier League proven.
Enzo FernĆ”ndez isnāt some experiment. He delivers goals, assists, tempo control, press resistance, and leadership in big games. He dictates rhythm, plays through pressure, and understands the league inside out. Santos is a very good talent with huge potential, no doubt ā but right now, tell me one area where heās clearly better than Enzo. Experience? No. Output? No. Game control? No. Potential doesnāt automatically jump ahead of proven quality.
No sane manager walks into Chelsea and benches Enzo FernĆ”ndez ājust becauseā he wants to trust youth. What actually makes sense is competition, rotation, and pairing, not replacement. So hereās the real question Chelsea fans: do we want smart squad building where quality and youth coexist, or hot takes that disrespect proven players just for clicks?
