*Learning never stops — and neither does our commitment to you*
Maureen, our Vision Therapist, and Dr. Damian C. Echendu, Ocular Health & Behavioral Optometrist, are among participants who completed the OPSIS 18-day Comprehensive Course in Advancing Learning through Vision: Patient-Centered Neuro-Optometric Examination, Prescribing, and Therapy in Birmingham, UK.
This 126-hour training deepened their skills in evaluating how vision, brain function, and behavior work together. For us, this isn’t just about adding qualifications — it’s about bringing better, more precise care back home to you.
What this means for our practice and our patients:
Better diagnosis: We can now assess vision problems that go beyond 20/20, including those linked to concussion, learning challenges, and neurological conditions.
Targeted therapy: More effective vision therapy programs tailored to each patient’s visual and neurological needs.
Patient-centered care: Every examination and treatment plan is now even more focused on you — your symptoms, your goals, your life.
In optometry, there’s no end to learning because vision is connected to everything we do. The more we learn, the better we serve.
Thank you for trusting us with your eye and vision health. We’re excited to put these new skills to work for you at the clinic.
