Fashion is many things to many people.
But in Design Process or Fashion Inspiration, culture is one of the major factors that influences a designer patterns of designs and creativity.
Even with the other factors like architecture, nature, mood, ancient artistic, street life, etc. Culture is one inspirational factor that increases our everyday designs and therefore swelling our bank account

Culturally Ebira women give meaning to the Yoruba traditional attire called Asoke. They are one of the best weavers in this country and their quality of work is outstanding. But how many people know today, that 75% of Asoke you see in most shop in idumota and Balogun market in Lagos are the creative works of Ebira women.

It's high time we identified with our creative skills and own it.
This is one of the few designs associated with our masquerade outfits and the wealthy men back then. But today the reverse is the case. Our masquerade now wear George, batik, damasks, velvet, etc.

As fashion evolves and inspiration still the foundation, this is one of those things that will wow your view on the runway especially during fashion festival.

Though this is a birthday shoot, and it is an outstanding one and unique.
