I didn’t expect this feeling—but wow, I’m so glad I gave myself this gift.
Today, I wore the second version of my wedding dress to church. When I designed my gown, I knew I wanted something versatile—something that wouldn’t just live in a box after one magical day. So I created a two-in-one piece: the dramatic bridal look for my wedding, and a softer, refined version I could wear again.
And today, I did just that.
Walking into church, I felt this quiet confidence. Not the butterflies and nerves of my wedding day—but something deeper. Peace. Gratitude. A full-circle moment. The dress still carries the same essence, the same memories, but now it feels lived-in… like it has grown with me.
There’s something incredibly special about re-wearing your wedding dress. It’s not just fabric—it’s a reminder of love, commitment, answered prayers, and a beautiful beginning. And instead of letting it fade into storage, I got to relive a piece of that joy in the most simple, meaningful way.
As a designer, this moment also affirmed something for me: fashion should be lived in. It should tell stories beyond a single day. Creating pieces that can evolve with you? That’s the real luxury.
Today wasn’t about being a bride again.
It was about honoring the woman I became after that day.
And honestly? I’ve never felt more beautiful.
