Mood after finishing that one dress that stressed you out 😭😂

This dress started with an inspiration: the olive tree. We had to research, think, create, deconstruct and then somehow translate the beauty and essence of an actual olive tree into a wearable piece.

From the flow of the dress to the flowers, the details, the beading and every element that represented the roots and beauty of the tree bringing this vision to life was no small task. 😭

There were moments this dress truly stressed us out, but seeing the final result? Every single stressful moment was worth it.

This is what we love about fashion. Taking inspiration from something ordinary and turning it into something you can wear.

And yes, we achieved it. 😌

One of my favourite things about what I do is the relationships I build with my clients.

This client has been with me for years, but we had never met in person. She’s based in the UK, so we took her measurements virtually, discussed her birthday designs, and got to work.

Months later, she finally walked into Rootheena’s atelier and saw her dresses for the first time.

I’m not just creating clothes,I’m creating memories and meaningful relationships.

After months of planning, seeing her wear it and watching her reaction was truly special.
