Taaaa!!! It's not normal.
No gree with the that your tailor.
It's normal for you to raise your hands in that dress.

Don't run away from your challenges, face them squarely.

One particular issue I had after leaving the first fashion school I attended was my inability to sew for plus sizes.

My first tries were indeed awful.

I developed this phobia for plus sizes then cos definitely the result won't turn out good.

Clients were coming, but 70 percent were plus sizes. Of course I rejected most of jobs out of fear.πŸ˜†

Well, the story changed the day I decided to face my challenge. I started seeking for solutions. I took classes and then I discovered that I just had only a little more I didn't know.

Knowing that little more helped me a lot.
Knowing that little more rejuvenated my confidence in making dresses for plus sizes and achieving a very good fitting.

In 2023 I made over 15 dresses more plus sizes and had no issues, not even one.

From pants to blazers, blouses, skirts, gowns and the rest of them...

My highest measurement for the year was
BUST 48
WAIST 45
AND HIP 60 πŸ˜„

I faced my challenges and conquered.

I have signed up to plus size gang.πŸ™ŒπŸ˜‚

So, here is what's behind my smooth, well pressed bust.
Asides the pattern of my Victorian corset and under bust contour, my bust ball plays a vital role in the smoothness of dresses bust area.

This bust ball didn't cost me any much, just pieces of fabrics taped up with a masking tape. This my bust ball is few years old, and can also serve for various sizes of bust.

I have other sizes too but this particular one remains my best.

Every designer should have at least, one of this.
