I’m an ardent student of pattern drafting,always learning every technique, every method, every formula.
But after years of teaching and sewing for different body types, I’ve learned this:
The end goal isn’t how perfectly you followed the book.
It’s how perfectly the garment fits the woman wearing it.
And sometimes, that means trusting your instincts more than the formula.
