RCCG Prophecies For 2020 By Pastor E.A. Adeboye.
This is going to be a year of series of joy because it is going to be a year of series of victories. By implication, it means it will be a year of series of battles but you will win, because .
-INTERNATIONAL:
This year unless you pray very hard, it is going to behave like a child that is having convulsion; Earthquakes and volcanoes that have been dormant for years will erupt, the reason is due to SIN. SIN is becoming more rampant.
There will also be change of governments all over the world, some of the changes will be peaceful, and some will not.
GOD says: This new year, He will answer prayers
*A GLIMPSE ABOUT WHAT GOD IS SAYING ABOUT THE NEW YEAR 2020 BY PASTOR E.A ADEBOYE (GENERAL OVERSEER WORLDWIDE, RCCG).*
*1. FOR EVERY INDIVIDUAL CHRISTIANS*.. Particularly those of you who are Members of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
This Year (2020) is going to be *A YEAR OF SERIES OF JOYS*.
The reason is that it is going to be a Year of "Series of Victories".
Now by implications, it means that it will be a Year of "Series of Battles"... But you will WIN!
*And that is why He asked me to tell you in advance that "The Battle is Not Yours".*.. It will be Victories after Victories; Shout of Joy after shout of Joy.
Let me just leave it like that.
2. *The others particularly for those of you who are Members of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG); your Pastors will be telling you.*
*3. INTERNATIONAL SCENE (INCLUDING NIGERIA)*
On the International Scene and we are going to rope Nigeria with the International Scene because there are some People who are waiting for what we will say concerning Nigeria - Nigeria is part of the world ok!
*The Earth this Year (2020) unless we Pray very hard is going to behave like a child that is having CONVULSION.*.. Earthquakes in many Places that it has never happened before and that is one of the reason that you should Pray for Nigeria.
Volcanoes that has been dormant for years erupting.
If you look at the Prophesies for Year 2019 for the International Scene; I gave it to you as a Bible Passage - Two (2) Bible Passages - You will see Fire and Flood.
*But the Lord said that whatever we have seen last Year (2019) is nothing compared with what is Coming in Year (2020).*
Except His children will Pray so that His Healing Hands can be upon the Nations of the world.
*... And the reason is that SIN is becoming far, far more rampant than before. Things that in the Past will not even be mentioned is now being celebrated and God is Angry.*
But if we should Pray and which is one of the reason that we should Evangelise rapidly, God will Help.
*This Year; there will be CHANGES of Governments all over the world in many Places.*
Some of the Changes will be Peaceful while some will not be Peaceful... That is all that I can tell you for now!
Of course, you know that we are going to Fast.
I will tell you more about that on Friday. (3rd of January, 2020). You can still enjoy yourself for now.
*The Fasting will not begin until January 11th, 2020.*
So you can still celebrate and enjoy yourself.
4. Now to one very important thing; my daddy said concerning those of you who are my children in particular: *This New Year (2020) HE WILL ANSWER PRAYERS - AMEN!*

Akwa Ibom Indigenes Top ExxonMobil's Employees List in Nigeria - Inoyo
The Vice Chairman of ExxonMobil Companies in Nigeria, Mr. Udom Inoyo has hinted that Akwa Ibom indigenes constitute 35% of the total employees in the three affiliate Companies of ExxonMobil in the country.
He made this revelation in his remarks at the Awards/Dinner Night of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Akwa Ibom State Council, on Friday, December 13, 2019, at WatBrigde Hotel, off IBB Avenue, Uyo.
Speaking during his goodwill message entitled "Where Did We Get It Wrong", Mr. Inoyo told the large crowd that his admiration for the pen profession propelled him to be a journalist after graduation because journalists played more than a complimentary role in shaping his appreciation and use of oral and written English Language. Regretting that some journalists have today deviated from their core values of investigating and looking after the common good of the society, he noted that people no longer sufficiently appreciate the way the profession is being practised today because "practically everyone with a smart phone or tablet is a journalist".
The Nsit Ubium born oil expert cited the oil and gas industry as one area that has not been adequately covered by the media, despite the sector being the main stay of Akwa Ibom State's and Nigeria's economies.
He disclosed that Akwa Ibom indigenes top employees of ExxonMobil and that the Companies have made huge financial contributions, and constitute strategic partner of development to the state without the knowledge of Akwa Ibom public, hence the reason for much speculations.
He said: "Akwa Ibom state is blessed to be an oil producing state, with Mobil Producing Nigeria (MPN) operating here. Because of this production, Akwa Ibom state’s revenue ranks among the highest (if not number one), and I can tell you for free that Akwa Ibom earns a lot more than MPN.
"Akwa Ibom indigenes alone constitute about 35% of all employees of the ExxonMobil affiliates in Nigeria.
"The company has contributed over N160b to NNDC, and remits about N7b annually in payee tax to the Akwa Ibom State Government."
He frowned at the stories making round that the "Company is not doing enough for the state", adding that "it’s worse for some of us employees who happen to come from the state, and as Nigerians, who are working very hard to help attract funding to the country despite competing locations even within the African continent."
Stating the impact of the company to the development of the state, he pointed that: "When you drive on newly constructed roads, watch a match in the ‘Nest of Champions’ or fly Ibom Air, all these have been largely enabled by the contributions of the joint venture operator."
The Vice Chairman thanked previous and present administrations in Akwa Ibom State for utilizing the funds for the good of the state and acknowledged the effort of the company's staff who "toil every second, to bring crude oil to surface".
Mr. Inoyo called on journalists in the country to hold governments at every level accountable for how the funds accruing to them (the governments) are utilized. He charged the Akwa Ibom State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists to enhance efforts towards rejuvenating the noble profession and directed the Company's Media and Communications Manager to sustain the strategic partnership with the Company and the Akwa Ibom Media Community.

Bank account holders to present Tax Identification Number fro January 2020
By Uju Maryann - December 3, 2019 802 0

Starting from January 2020, Nigerians operating an account with any bank, or intends to open a new account, will be mandated to present his or her Tax Identification Number TIN, the Nation reports.

This directive is contained in the Financial bill passed by the National Assembly on November 21st. The Bill, submitted to the lawmakers with Budget 2020 by President Buhari, is designed to improve financial operations of the country and streamline the tax regime. According to a section of the Bill, banks will require anybody opening an account to provide his Tax Identification Number (TIN) while those who are already operating a bank account, will also be required to provide their TIN.

The move is to get more Nigerians to pay their taxes.

The tax identification number (TIN) is a unique identifier for an individual or a company for tax remittance. The TIN is prepared by the tax office and issued for proper identification and verification. Applying for TIN is free. The TIN generation process is real-time and should not exceed 48 hours after a request is submitted.

Another major feature of the Financial Bill which was passed by the Senate on November 21st, is the hike in Value Added Tax (VAT) to 7.5 per cent from the extant five per cent. Also in the bill, emails will be accepted by the tax authorities as a formal channel of correspondence with taxpayers.

The bill will also strategically “promote fiscal equity by mitigating instances of regressive taxation; reform domestic tax laws to align with global best practices; introduce tax incentives for investments in infrastructure and capital markets; support small businesses in line with the ongoing Ease of Doing Business Reforms; and raise revenues for the Government by various fiscal measures.”

Under the proposed Personal Income Tax Act: the bill will state that pension contributions no longer require the approval of the Joint Tax Board (JTB) to be tax-deductible.

The bill when signed into law, will remove the tax exemption on withdrawals from pension schemes except the prescribed conditions are met. The bill will come up with a penalty for failure to deduct tax by agents appointed for tax deduction. This penalty is 10 per cent of the tax not deducted, plus interest at the prevailing monetary policy rate of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

The conditions attached to tax exemption on gratuities will be removed by the bill, meaning that gratuities are unconditionally tax exempt. The duties currently performed by the Joint Tax Board (JTB) as it relates to administering the Personal Income Tax Act, will now be performed by the FIRS.

Another penalty that will come into effect when the bill becomes law will be the penalty for late filing of the Value Added Tax (VAT) returns. The penalty for failure to register for VAT will be reviewed upwards to N50,000 for the first month of default and N25,000 for each subsequent month of default.

The penalty for failure to notify FIRS of change in company address will be reviewed upwards to N50,000 for the first month of default and N25,000 for each subsequent month of default. This penalty also covers failure to notify FIRS of permanent cessation of trade or business.

Similar to the VAT amendment, the bill is also introducing Capital Gains Tax (CGT) exemption on Group reorganisations, subject to the following conditions being met.

They are:

Assets are sold to a Nigerian company and is for the better organisation of the trade or business;
The entities involved are within a recognised group 365 days before the transaction, and the relevant assets are not disposed earlier than 365 days after the transaction.
The current practice is that companies send an approval request letter under CITA S29(9) to the FIRS, and include a CGT exemption request. Currently, the CGT Act imposes CGT on compensation for loss of employment above N10,000.

The bill seeks to expand the coverage of this provision by renaming it “compensation for loss” and increase the minimum threshold from N10,000 to N10 million.

*20 Habits of Successful People*
The message is a bit long, you will have to exercise patience to read through. But one thing is sure, you will definitely tell me 'thank you' for sharing.
If you've ever done anything to improve your situation in life, you know it took some effort. Whether it's earning a degree, finding a new job especially in this our nation, sealing an important relationship or improving your fitness. Of course, getting ahead isn't going to happen without you taking some different steps.
But it's not always big changes which brings the most rewards. If you ask high achieving people about their secrets to success, more often it's the little things they do every single day which point them in the right direction and keep them headed there.
Here are the 20 Habits of successful People, I believe this will help you build your life and become a successful person too.
1. They plan their day, week, month, year, and life in advance by establishing goals and the steps needed to achieve them.
2. They maintain a positive attitude.
3. They are courageous. They are not without fear. They understand that courage is not the absence of fear; it’s the ability to go forward anyway even though you’re afraid. They are motivated to do these things by the exhilaration they feel after facing their fear and accomplishing their objective.
4. They don’t waste their time with mindless activities like watching hours of moronic television shows including so-called reality programs.
5. They watch and read an extremely limited amount of news. Let me explain this point small. Successful people are motivated to avoid some news because they know that they are not flooding their minds with positive but negative messages, images, and outcomes.
6. Successful people are constantly feeding their minds with new and inspirational ideas for improving themselves by reading and listening to self-improvement books and CDs.
7. They are continually expanding their knowledge and experience base. If they have an opportunity to go to college, take a class, or attend a workshop, they take it! If they receive a request to teach a class, write an article, or deliver a speech, they do it. They are motivated to do these things because they know it will help them develop their skills and abilities in ways that go beyond the assignment that they are taking on.
8. They do not allow their ego to control them. They remain humble and level-headed regardless of how successful and powerful they become.
9. They manage their money and other financial matters carefully.
10. Successful people decide what they want to accomplish and then they go do it. They don’t allow other people to talk them out of it. They just keep moving forward until they reach their chosen destination. They are inspired to do these things because they know it works!
11. They are early risers. They have discovered the advantages of getting an early start on the day.
12. They exercise 5 to 7 days a week.
13. They maintain a healthy diet. They do this by learning about healthy and unhealthy foods and ignoring enticing and often misleading advertising.
14. Successful people maintain their proper body weight. They regularly check their weight.
15. They are able to get themselves to take action even when they do not feel like it.
16. They complete any job, project, or task with excellence.
17. These people know how to be compassionate to those in need.
18. They are loyal to their friends. And they follow the rules of friendship.
19. Successful people know how to love unconditionally and without measure of what they expect to receive in return. They are inspired to do these things because they know that love is the fuel for all things that are good.
20. Successful people know God. You can't just have success and not know the Father of success. Success without God is Su***de. "... but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits." Daniel 11:32.
These Habits worth acquiring.

BREAKING NEWS
IJAW YOUTH COUNCIL CALLS FOR AKPABIO'S SACK AS A MINISTER
* Say Ex-senator causing instability, confusion in Niger Delta

Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) worldwide has called for the immediate sack of the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio, for undue interference in the affairs of the Niger Delta Development Commission.
In a statement by IYC's President, Eric Omare, the group claimed that the activities of Akpabio since his appointment as minister of Niger Delta Affairs had led to instability and confusion in the region.
The statement said: ”It would be recalled that President Buhari through the office of the Secretary to Government of the Federation on Tuesday, August, 2019 announced the appointment of the Board of NDDC with Chief Bernard Okumagba as Managing Director and Chief Odubu as Chairman subject to senate clearance.
"On Tuesday, October 29, 2019, the names of the newly appointed board members were forwarded to the Senate for clearance and the senate president, Ahmad Lawan, directed the Senate Committee on NDDC led by Senator Peter Nwaboshi (Delta North) to do the screening within one week.
"However, to the utter consternation of Niger Deltans and Nigerians, in the evening hours of October 29, 2019, Chief Akpabio ran to Channels Television and announced the appointment of a three man NDDC interim management committee led by one Mrs. Joy Ghene Nuieh as Acting Managing Director."
It added, ”The IYC completely reject the interim management committee set up by Chief Akpabio because it is not in the interest of the NDDC and the Niger Delta region to set up such a committee when the Senate has begun the screening and promised to complete the exercise within seven days.
"In the channels interview, Akpabio in one breath said that the interim management committee would stay in office until the senate approval of the new board and in another breath said that the committee would stay until the completion of forensic audit order by President Buhari.
”Therefore, we are compelled to ask what exactly is Akpabio’s intention in setting up the interim management committee?
"How can an interim management committee be set up when within a week time, the Senate would have cleared the board members ready for inauguration?
"What would the interim management committee achieve for the Niger Delta region within one week period of their stay in office?
"Why is there so much instability in the NDDC under the Buhari’s presidency, when the North East Development Commission with a similar mandate is focused and delivering on its mandate?”
Continuing, the IYC stated: ”We make bold to state that Akpabio’s intention in setting up an interim management committee with one of his political loyalist, Chief Ibanga Bassey Etang, as Acting Executive Director, Finance and Administration is to use the NDDC to promote personal aggrandizement at the expense of the development of the Niger Delta region.
"Since assumption of office, Mr. Akpabio has taken several actions in relation to the NDDC that are detrimental to the interest of the region.
"It would be recalled that one of the first things Akpabio did as Minister of Niger Delta Affairs was to ask the then interim management committee under Dr. (Mrs.) Akwagaga Eyia to pay water hyacinth contracts of 1.9 billion naira with a list full of people unknown to Niger Deltans to the exclusion of the youths of the region who are the usual beneficiaries.
"As if that was not enough, Akpabio was also involved in the aborted illegal secret recruitment exercise in the NDDC.
”The IYC is wondering if Akpabio is Minister of NDDC or the Niger Delta Affairs. Why is Akpabio more interested in the NDDC instead of coordinating the overall development of the Niger Delta region especially the completion of the East West Road that has been abandoned since President Buhari assumed office?
"Consequently, the IYC call for the immediate sack of Chief Akpabio as Minister of Niger Delta Affairs in the interest of relative peace in the Niger Delta region.
”We further call for the reversion of the order granting the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs supervisory powers of the NDDC.
"We had initially thought that it was the right decision but Akpabio’s conduct so far shows that the NDDC under the Niger Delta Ministry would not be able to achieve its statutory responsibilities.
"The supervision of the NDDC should be returned back to the Presidency as it was before now."

RE:SACK AKPABIO NOW:A JAUNDICED DEMAND BY THE IJAW YOUTH COUNCIL.

Our attention has been drawn to a press release by the Ijaw Youth Council, accusing the Hon minister of Niger Delta Affairs,Senator Godswill Akpabio,of undue interference in the NDDC affairs and calling for his sack by the President.

Apparently, the avowed commitment of the Hon minister to reform, restructure and reengineer the Commission to achieve its core mandate is ruffling and unsettling some feathers within the sub region and as such,he is bound to face some distractions and resistance by those who prefer the Commission to remain business as usual.

For the Presidential order for forensic probe of the Commission since its inception in 2001 to be carried out without compromise or interference by any person or group of persons,a new acting management team was totally necessary. You can't allow the bureaucrats who had been part of the activities to be probed to oversee the probe and expect the expect the process not to be compromised.

To that extent, the appointment and subsequent inauguration of the acting management team was in order and we hereby endorse it.

Accusing the Hon minister of scheming to use the new acting management team to achieve self aggrandizement is,to say the least, pettiness of the highest order.

To us,the decision by the President to delegate supervision of the Commission to the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs was well advised. The Ijaw Youth Council must appreciate the bold and tough decisions and steps taken so far by the Hon minister of Niger Delta Affairs to reposition the NDDC.The Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs is the most suitable ministry to supervise the affairs of the Commission and this must be sustained.

The Hon Minister didn't award any water HYACINTH CONTRACT as alleged by the Ijaw Youth Council. The water hyacinth contacts he ordered the immediate past acting M.D. of the NDDC to pay were awarded by the Commission many months before his assumption of office as Minister and the employment exercise by the Commission had been suspended by Hon minister. We therefore, see no reason why the Ijaw Youth Council could make such allegations against him.

Niger deltans must support and encourage the Hon minister of Niger Delta Affairs to fast track the development of the sub region.

With Senator Akpabio as Minister of Niger Delta Affairs,we have no doubt that the East West road shall be completed and commissioned within his tenure.

Happy new week my dear customers. May your day be fruitful and yard increase in Jesus Name. Amen

05/10/2019

Africa is an exciting frontier in the global natural gas sector. The continent holds 7.1 percent of proven global gas reserves (http://bit.ly/2KKgTgQ) and is expected to contribute nearly 10 percent of global production growth through to 2024 (http://bit.ly/30murnZ).

On the demand side, Africa’s large, urbanized and industrialized societies of the future will require reliable and sustainable power generation. With greenfield investments in Nigeria, Egypt, Mozambique and elsewhere reaching nearly $103 billion this year (http://bit.ly/30oTBSU), it is clear that liquefaction is viewed as the most profitable strategy for realizing Africa’s gas potential.

Record investments on the supply side

Nigeria accounts for over 50 percent of current LNG production capacity on the continent (https://bloom.bg/2KLS18A). With October 2019 seeing a final investment decision on the $12 billion expansion of the country’s liquefaction plant at Bonny Island in Rivers State.

The Train 7 expansion project would increase Nigerian LNG production capacity by 35 percent, from 22 million tons per annum to 30 million. Current indications point to a positive verdict (http://bit.ly/2Mu0wXT). The twenty-year-old facility is owned and operated by a consortium which includes NNPC, Shell, Total and Eni (http://bit.ly/2Z8aftm).

In North Africa, Egypt has successfully re-established itself as an important investment destination following the downturn in the gas sector in 2014. In the first half of 2019, the behemoth Zohr offshore gas field produced 11.3 billion cubic meters – 3.6 times more than it did in 1H2018. The success is set to continue with reports earlier this year of a new Eni discovery in the Nour North Sinai Concession (http://bit.ly/2NoHsd8). Evaluation is ongoing but there are hopes that the new field could rival the Zohr, which would open significant opportunities for investment in new liquification plants. In February, the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Corporation awarded five new gas exploration concessions to Shell, ExxonMobil, Petronas, DEA and Eni in which it expects to see 20 wells drilled (https://reut.rs/2ZiMCO7).

In June, Anadarko gave its final approval for a $20 billion gas liquefaction and export terminal in Mozambique. The Area 1 project is the single largest LNG project ever approved in Africa (https://reut.rs/2zaK0Dd). And, it could be closely followed by Exxon’s $14.7 billion Area 4 development – FID is expected before the end of the year (http://bit.ly/30oTBSU). Political stability and access to east Asian markets could see Mozambique become a major global gas market over the next decade.

Investors are also paying attention to smaller projects in countries like Mauritania, Senegal and Cameroon. Operators have been successfully able to deploy floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) technology to realise the value of smaller assets in these markets and this could be a continuing trend in 2020 and beyond (https://bloom.bg/2KLS18A / http://bit.ly/31Qrr3E). Eni and partners are considering a $7 billion FLNG for the Coral South field in Mozambique (http://bit.ly/31Qrr3E).

South Africa’s LNG diversification play

In terms of African demand for LNG, South Africa – the most industrialized economy on the continent – could be an influential market.

Heavy coal consumption and unreliable power generation make natural gas an attractive solution to diversify its power generation base. In 2020, Transnet – a state-owned freight logistics firm – will launch a tender for the development of an LNG import terminal at Richards Bay Port. The World Bank’s International Finance Corporation has committed $2 million to fund the project planning (https://reut.rs/2ZiUtr4).

These and other recent developments reflect a growing and diverse African LNG sector. From top-tier greenfield developments to faster-to-market, agile FLNG operations; massive new discoveries to expanding existing liquefication infrastructure. It is an exciting time to be involved, as demonstrated by the high-profile speakers taking part in this year’s Gas Exporting Countries’ Forum, be hosted by Equatorial Guinea in Malabo.
