Stop blaming your sewing skills when the real problem is your basic bodice.
Most fitting issues don't happen because you're a bad tailor—they happen because the foundation is wrong.

If your basic bodice is drafted incorrectly:
❌ The bust won't sit properly.
❌ The neckline will gape.
❌ The armhole will pull or feel tight.
❌ The waistline won't align.
❌ Every style you make from it will inherit the same fitting problems.

But when your basic bodice is drafted accurately, every design becomes easier to create, alter, and fit beautifully.

Think of it this way: You can't build a beautiful house on a faulty foundation. The basic bodice is the foundation of countless garments.
