Another designer sews almost the same thing for ₦200k+ 👀
And somehow people still pay happily.
Why?

Because in fashion, people don’t only pay for fabric and sewing.
They pay for:
- branding
- finishing
- fitting
- presentation
- confidence
- uniqueness
- customer experience

That’s why two designers can have the same skill level but completely different income levels.

The truth is, many talented tailors are still undercharging because they haven’t learned how to position themselves as premium yet ✂️🔥

You can be the most talented fashion designer in the room and still struggle financially if you don’t understand the BUSINESS side of fashion.

A lot of designers know how to sew…
But not a lot know how to:
• Price for profit
• Handle premium clients
• Position themselves as luxury
• Market their work consistently
• Scale beyond “urgent sewing”
• Make money even during slow seasons

And that’s why some people sew every single day yet still complain that “there’s no money in fashion.”
The truth?
There is A LOT of money in fashion.
But the money doesn’t only come from sewing neatly.
It comes from knowing how to turn your skill into a profitable brand.

Because imagine spending 5 days on an outfit…
Using expensive fabric, light, transport, stress and creativity…
Only to charge a price that cannot even change your life financially.
That’s exhausting.

The designers making serious money are not always the most talented.
