PART 2: MY WEALTHY HUSBAND EATS MAGGOTS, BUT WHAT HE TOLD ME NEXT WAS EVEN MORE TERRIFYING! 😳
When my husband asked me what I had seen the previous night, I couldn't answer him.
My hands were shaking, and tears were running down my face.
He stared at me for a few seconds before saying, “My wife, I never wanted you to find out this way.”
I moved backwards and asked him, “Why? Why are you eating maggots? What kind of thing is this? Are you into something evil?”
He immediately became angry.
“Be careful with the words you use in this house!” he warned.
I had never seen him speak to me that way before.
Then he sat down, took a deep breath, and began to explain.
He told me that before he became wealthy, he was a poor young man who had tried almost everything to succeed. According to him, the strange practice started years before we met, after someone introduced him to a secret ritual involving maggots.
He claimed that he had been told it was the price he had to pay to keep his wealth growing.
I couldn't believe what I was hearing.
“Then why did you marry me?” I asked him. “Does this thing have anything to do with me?”
For the first time, he looked away from me.
That silence frightened me more than anything he had said.
Finally, he looked into my eyes and said, “There is a reason I chose you, my wife. And if I tell you the truth, you may never look at me the same way again.”
I begged him to tell me everything.
But instead of answering, he stood up, walked towards his study, and brought out an old brown envelope.
When he opened it, I saw my photograph inside.
My photograph from years before I had ever met him.
My legs became weak.
How did my husband get my photograph before we even knew each other? And what did he want from me?
