That night changed everything.

The house was quiet.

But they didn’t take my life.
And that was grace.
When the door finally closed behind them, I sat there in shock, realizing how close danger can come—and how fragile life truly is. That night taught me a lesson no book ever could: possessions are temporary, but life is priceless.
I walked away shaken… but protected.
