CASE STUDY — DANDELION’S FIRST RTW COLLECTION
Dandelion wanted to start a Ready-to-Wear brand from home but had a small budget.
Instead of creating 15 designs, she started with:
• 4 simple outfits
• 2 fabric types
• 3 neutral colors
Her collection included:
• a kimono
• a loose dress
• a cord set
• a bubu
She used:
• black
• cream
• mocha brown
The designs were simple, easy to reproduce, and easy to style.
Instead of renting an expensive studio, she used natural lighting and photographed the outfits with a plain background.
Before launch, she posted:
• sneak peeks
• fabric videos
• behind-the-scenes clips
• countdown posts
She accepted pre-orders first instead of producing many pieces immediately.
This helped her:
• reduce financial pressure
• test customer interest
• avoid overproduction
• start her brand confidently from home
Her first launch was small, but organized and professional.
