I've mentioned this earlier "The most affected person by your appearance is not someone else, it is you". Your mind notices before anyone else does.

Whenever you feel something is off, it could be your outfit fit, colours or length, that intuition is usually right. Ignoring that feeling quietly drains your confidence all day.

Please note that dressing up isn't vanity, it's about preparation for how you show up mentally and emotionally.

Hack: Whenever you are about to step out, take a minute to check yourself in a natural light, adjust what feels wrong, and leave the house with intention.

Being comfortable should not cancel out being intentional., Working for yourself doesn't mean showing up unbothered.

Whether you work in an office, a studio, a shop or your own space, your appearance still speaks. You can dress casually, and still look put together.

Please note that pressed clothes, neat finishing and intentional pieces can completely change how you feel and your approach to work.

Looking put together is not about who is watching, it's about how you show up for yourself. The brain loves order, and it translates to how you act.

A short story, please pull a chair if one is near..
Back then during my first interview after NYSC, I was so anxious, not because i didn't prepare but because I didn't know what I was walking into.

Sincerely, what I wore wasn't expensive, just a green colour high waist corporate pant, a white short sleeve shirt and a black flats; simple right? But I made sure it was well fitted and properly pressed, with every line showing.

As I walked into the building, still nervous, someone I passed by paused and appreciated my look, and just like that, the anxiety was lifted. And believe me, that simple compliment changed my energy and gave me the confidence I didn't know I needed.

That day taught me something, how you show up can set your balance, before anything else takes shape..
