Draw Your Sword! - [1]
Ephesians 6:17-18 KJV
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints
The scripture above is an excerpt from one of Apostle Paul's letters to the Church. Let's look intently into it!
It is worthy of note that all the (spiritual) weapons of warfare that are listed in chapter of our anchor scripture are all aimed at defence except one.
The scripture speaks of the belt of truth, the helmet of salvation and so on, and they are all for defence. However, the only weapon we have here for attack is the sword of the Spirit.
The scripture clearly points out that the sword of the Spirit is the (inspired) word of God. So, our primary weapon of attack is the word of God. Glory to God!
I encourage you to fill your heart with God's word and wield it boldly!
