7 RESON YOUR ENGINE SHAKES DURING ACCELERATION 👇

If your vehicle shakes or vibrates during acceleration, it usually indicates a problem with the engine, fuel system, or drivetrain. When you press the accelerator, the engine requires the correct combination of fuel, air, and ignition to produce smooth power. If any of these systems fail, the engine may run unevenly and create noticeable vibrations.

One of the most common causes is worn spark plugs or faulty ignition coils, which lead to engine misfires. When a cylinder misfires, combustion becomes inconsistent, causing shaking and loss of power. Another frequent issue is dirty or clogged fuel injectors, which restrict the proper flow of fuel to the cylinders. Similarly, a weak fuel pump may not supply enough fuel pressure during acceleration.

Air intake problems can also contribute to this issue. A dirty Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor may send incorrect information to the engine control unit, resulting in an improper air-fuel mixture. In addition, broken or worn engine mounts can amplify vibrations by allowing the engine to move excessively.

Finally, drivetrain components such as CV joints or driveshafts can create vibration when worn. Proper diagnosis and early repair can prevent more serious engine or transmission damage.

10 Things You Should NEVER Do During a Breakdown

Machine stops.
Production pressure rises.
Management starts calling.

That moment defines leadership.

Here are 10 mistakes that destroy credibility during breakdown 👇

❌ 1️⃣ Don’t Panic

If you panic, the whole team panics.

Calm leader = Controlled situation.

❌ 2️⃣ Don’t Start Blaming Immediately

“Who did this?”
“Which shift was running?”

Blame kills problem solving.

Focus on process, not people.

❌ 3️⃣ Don’t Guess the Root Cause

Never say:
“It must be sensor issue.”

Verify first. Observe first. Analyze first.

❌ 4️⃣ Don’t Ignore Safety

Under pressure, people skip LOTO, guards, or PPE.

Production loss is recoverable.
Injury is not.

❌ 5️⃣ Don’t Replace Parts Without Diagnosis

Changing parts randomly increases cost and confusion.

Repair with logic. Not emotion.

❌ 6️⃣ Don’t Hide Information

If breakdown will take 2 hours, say it.

Wrong estimate damages trust more than long downtime.

❌ 7️⃣ Don’t Crowd the Machine

10 people standing around doesn’t fix problem.

Assign roles clearly.

❌ 8️⃣ Don’t Forget to Record Data

Time, alarm code, temperature, sound, vibration.

Memory fades. Data stays.

❌ 9️⃣ Don’t Close Without Root Cause

Temporary fix is not solution.

If you don’t remove root cause, it will return.

❌ 🔟 Don’t Skip Learning Review

After restart:

• Do 5 Why
• Update PM
• Train operator
• Improve system

Breakdown without learning = future breakdown.

🎯 Reality of Shopfloor

Anyone can repair a machine.

But strong leaders improve the system.

“During breakdown, your behavior matters more than your technical skill.”

How to Use a Torque Wrench

A torque wrench is used to tighten bolts and nuts to the correct torque specification. Proper torque prevents loose bolts or damage from over-tightening, especially on engine parts and wheel nuts.

Steps to Use:

1. Check torque specification in the service manual (example: wheel nuts 100 Nm).

2. Set the torque value by turning the handle and locking it.

3. Place the socket on the bolt or nut.

4. Hold the wrench at the handle and pull slowly and smoothly.

5. Stop tightening when you hear or feel the "click" sound.

6. Do not apply extra force after the click.

7. After use, return the wrench to the lowest setting for storage.

Important Tips:

Always pull, do not push.

Use for final tightening only.

Keep the wrench clean and calibrated.

Conclusion:
Using a torque wrench correctly ensures safe, accurate, and reliable tightening of bolts.
