Did you read my last post ?

On my way back home,(remember I said I was moved to do more) I concluded that if I can get more sponsors,I would give 6women the same 75% discount, while the selected candidates pay 25%. I called the lady I just left her place and told her about the new development and she was also happy about it. That way we would reach out to more people!

Get a seat, grab your snacks and a bottle of chilled drink. It's a long post!🤣

I was at a customer's place when a call came in.
I picked the call and it was from a lady who had being on my neck to train her for free. Ha!🙄
I had told her earlier on that I can only afford to give a 50% discount just to support her dream and making her fashion career a reality.
She went on and pleaded again that she can only afford to pay #10,000.
Lol! That is not even up to 25% of the original cost.
I sha told her to call me back in two days time that hopefully I would have figured out what to do ( An Alumna and the only beneficiary of the free training I offered in 2019 gave her my contacts 🙂)

N:B The original cost of our 6mnths apprenticeship cost that is about to commence in July is #80,000 for tuition fee.
#3000 for form.

With this payment, the participants will be given a starter pack and also awarded a certificate at the end of the programm.

You wouldn't need to bring a rice of cooler and a bag semo. 🤣

As much as I would loved to do this for free there are three major reasons why I would not.

1. People don't value things when you give it to them for free! They feel it's cheap and also act like they do not have anything to loose.

2.I am presently restructuring the training arm of my business and would also need funds to have a smooth run. At least to cover the running cost!

3. This is what I do to earn a living.😌

So back to my main gist! 😉

After I dropped the call i proceeded to seal the deal I came for.
And my customer said Teehem why didn't you enrol this lady for free. She knew I had done this before.(She had being my customer for a while and we sometimes discuss about how much I would loved to empower women if I have the financial capacity).
I gave her the reasons I mentioned above🖕 and she agreed with me.
She asked that what if she pays the 50% for the lady which is #40,000.

I was so elated! My Joy knew no bounds, I thanked her.... but I was moved to do MORE!
