One of the definitions of taqwa I cherish is this....
Taqwa is to wear the correct Hijab for the sole reason of pleasing Allah and to keep it on as per Sunnah.
Wearing the Hijab is the outer expression of taqwa. Taqwa lies in the heart and it can be expressed outwardly .
If a heart has taqwa actions automatically follows.
It is what is in the heart that is displayed. Hence hijabis are consider
real believers
persons of good characters and manners
people of self contents
paradise aspirants who sees this world a prison
having fear of Allah
pious individuals
less prone to committing sins etc
Although taqwa varies at different points. It rises, falls, rises again but never let go.
An hijabi can act wrongly at times. Her characters and reactions towards issues might be surprising This has nothing to do with her hijab. The hijab and the wearer are two different entities.
It is the level of taqwa within that made her wear hijab.
It is the fact that she is perfectly human that makes her act wrongly sometimes
May Allah keep guiding us.
