It was majorly on my hands below the elbows and legs from knee down only. My parents did their utmost best to handle my condition, from buying Asesop in those days to black soap in my teenage years. Gradually my dad then a single parent lost hope and I just accepted that well its genetics and seasonal and nothing could help. I am the only one in the family with this problem. The turning point for me came about 6 years ago when crusader which I used then and which had little or no improvement in my condition increased in price and my little daughter began to complain of itching on her legs too. I knew this problem has come full circle and I had to break it. Being a Medical laboratory scientist, I began to question, is there no other alternative? Most options had failed me for more than 3 decades. I decided to look around me and I discovered that yes, truely nature is the best medicine. I've been making herbal soap for the past 6 years for i and my family and believe me it works. It might not be 100% for you, it isn't for me but it's the best. ❀️🧴 MY PEOPLE, THE RAINY SEASON IS OVER! LET'S PREPARE OUR SKIN FOR HARMATTAN WITH THIS AMAZING SOLID BODY LOTION BAR! 😍

My people, Harmattan is approaching, and you know what that dry weather can do to our skin! 😩 Dry, rough, ashy skin, cracked heels and dry elbows.

But why wait until Harmattan starts dealing with our skin before we prepare? πŸ˜‚β€οΈ

Today, I'm sharing a simple recipe for making your own SOLID BODY LOTION BAR at home. It is rich in moisturizing butters and oils that help soften the skin and reduce moisture loss.

The best part? You can make it yourself! πŸ₯°

🧈 INGREDIENTS AND MEASUREMENTS

For a 500 g batch, you will need:

βœ… 175 g shea butter
βœ… 125 g cocoa butter
βœ… 75 g beeswax
βœ… 75 g coconut oil
βœ… 45 g sweet almond oil
βœ… 5 g vitamin E oil

Total: 500 g.

πŸ‘©β€πŸ”¬ PROCEDURE: HOW TO MAKE YOUR LOTION BAR

Step 1: Put your beeswax, shea butter and cocoa butter into a clean, heat-resistant bowl.

Step 2: Place the bowl over a pot of hot water (double boiler method). Allow the ingredients to melt gently. Avoid direct high heat.

Step 3: Add your coconut oil and sweet almond oil. Stir thoroughly until everything is well combined.

Step 4: Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then add your vitamin E oil according to the supplier's temperature recommendation. Mix properly.

Step 5: Pour the mixture into clean, completely dry silicone molds.

Step 6: Allow the bars to cool and harden completely before removing them from the molds.
