The Bougainvillea Print 🌺

Inspired by the beautiful bougainvillea that spills across the cottages and coastlines of Turkey, this print became the heart of the Sahil Collection.

From colour exploration and motif development to fabric testing across linen, silk, chiffon, and organza, every part of this print was developed in house before becoming the signature print of the collection.

Once the designs are approved, they move into technical drawings.

Unlike fashion illustrations, technical drawings communicate exactly how a garment should be constructed. Every seam, dart, pocket, zipper, gathering detail, and construction line is documented before production begins.

These technical drawings were developed for the Sahil Collection before moving into production ready tech packs.

It’s one of the most important steps in transforming beautiful ideas into beautifully made garments.

SAHIL | A Resort Capsule Collection 🌊☀️

There’s something incredibly satisfying about taking an idea from a blank page and watching it become a fully developed collection.

Over the past few weeks, I challenged myself to create SAHIL, a resort capsule collection inspired by the warmth, architecture, colours, and coastal landscapes of Türkiye. More than a collection, this became an opportunity to showcase the complete design process behind bringing a fashion idea to life.

Every single element was developed from scratch.

I wanted SAHIL to feel warm, feminine, effortless, and endlessly wearable while celebrating everything that happens long before a garment reaches production.

One of my favourite parts of this project was developing the original textile prints specifically for the collection and then watching them come alive across multiple silhouettes. Seeing the journey from concept sketches to fashion illustrations, custom prints, technical drawings, and finally production-ready documentation reminded me why I love what I do.

This collection also became a personal milestone. Looking back at my work from just two years ago and comparing it to SAHIL reminds me that growth happens quietly, one project at a time, until one day you look back and realize just how far you’ve come.

This is only the beginning, and I’m incredibly excited for everything that’s still to come. 🤍✨

Inspired by the breathtaking Turkish coastline, Sahil is a celebration of slow holidays, charming seaside cottages, flowing fabrics, and the vibrant bougainvillea that colours the landscape.

The goal was simple: create a collection that feels bright, feminine, practical, and effortlessly elegant—pieces that transition beautifully from everyday moments to memorable occasions.

This collection was created as a practice project to showcase our complete design process—from concept development and research to fashion illustration, textile print design, AI visualisation, technical drawings, and production-ready tech packs.

The Bougainvillea Print 🌺

One of the most memorable sights along the Turkish coastline is the vibrant bougainvillea that spills effortlessly over cottages, balconies, and stone walls.

That became the inspiration behind this original textile print, developed exclusively for our Sahil Collection.

To fully explore the print, we tested it across multiple fabric bases—including linen, silk, chiffon, and organza—to understand how colour, texture, and movement would interact across different garments and silhouettes.
