HOW TO KEEP YOUR HEADWEARS SAFE THIS RAINY SEASON (part 2)

Because hats deserve a soft life too.

1. Rain and Fascinators Are Not Friends

Please don’t let your elegant fascinator enter a heavy rain battle unnecessarily.

Water can:

* Weaken glue
* Damage trims
* Bend shapes
* Destroy delicate fabrics

If rain starts unexpectedly:

* Cover your headwear with nylon
* Remove it carefully if soaked
* Allow it air dry naturally

No hair dryer warfare please.

2. Store Your Hats Properly

Rainy season humidity can turn beautiful hats into “before and after” pictures.

Q: Why were children in the olden days more respectful and responsible?

A: Because parenting then came with strict discipline, clear boundaries, hard work, and consequences. Children feared disappointing their parents and the community.

Q: Why do many parents today struggle with raising children?

A: Because many homes now confuse “freedom” with “lack of control.” Some parents want to be best friends instead of parents, while children are growing up without limits or accountability.

Q: Does that mean old-school parenting was perfect?

A: Not completely. Many children then couldn’t express themselves freely, and emotional connection was missing in some homes.

Q: So what should parents do now?

A: Raise children with both love and structure. Let children feel heard, but also teach respect, responsibility, and discipline. A child should know they are loved, and still know when they are wrong.

Q: And the children?

A: Respect will never go out of fashion. No matter the generation, children must learn values, manners, accountability, and self-control.

Q: What happens when parenting fails?

A: Society pays the price. Undisciplined children eventually become irresponsible adults, and the effects show up everywhere homes, schools, workplaces, and leadership.
