So Jide ordered a shoe online. He saw size 44 and shouted, “Na my size be this!” Without checking the chart, he clicked buy.
Shoe landed. He wore it. Omo, the thing big like canoe
What happened?
He picked EU 44 thinking it was UK 44. My guy didn’t know UK 10 = EU 44 = US 11. Same shoe, just different country “language.”
Buying shoes online sometimes feels like magic numbers everywhere—US, UK, EU, CM, IN. But don’t worry, I’ll explain it like you’re 5.
Imagine you love ice cream. Some people call it 'chocolate', others call it 'choco', and in another country they just say 'brown scoop'. Same thing, different names. That’s exactly what happens with shoe sizes!
For example:
US size 9 = UK size 8 = EU size 43
It’s still the same shoe, just different countries calling it by different names.
Now what about CM or IN?
That’s just your foot’s actual length measured with a ruler. So, if your foot is about 27.3 cm, you’re wearing a US size 9(or UK 8, or EU 43).
