Authentic woven Kente is hand-woven, premium, and was traditionally reserved for royalty in Ghana in the olden days.

Ankara “Kente print” is a factory-printed fabric that only imitates Kente designs and does not carry the same texture, craftsmanship, or cultural significance as true woven Kente.

Why we started selling Kente fabrics in kaftan style

Our story goes back to 2017 at Lagos Fashion Week. I wore an outfit very similar to the pieces in our new collection, and the reaction was incredible. I realized something important that day — Nigerians truly love Kente, but not always in the traditional way we Ghanaians usually wear it.

That insight inspired a new vision. On 16 December 2025, was born created to blend authentic Kente with modern kaftan silhouettes, making the fabric feel fresh, stylish, and wearable in a new way.
