I took this picture last december... Just a few days before Christmas
In this picture, there is a big 'hole' at the middle of my head.
Let me tell you what happened
Sometimes, I act on sudden impulse...
No premeditation...No prior thought
Just stand up and do...
Or go...
Like that fine morning last December
I woke up and announced I was going to dye my hair white
My mother: 😳
My sisters:🙄
They told me not to do it.
They said it would spoil my hair
Me: 😌
I packed my hair kit and ran out of the house, straight to the salon
I wish I listened
Instead of white, the hair turned red
The stylist said she "no know wetin happen o"
She told me to go home... Say "Gradually, gradually, e go turn white"
I went home that day looking like an angry red pepper
Everybody at home: 😲🤣🤣
The next day, I went back to the salon
The stylist took one look at me and said
"ị dị ka ose "
I said I know
I want my hair white...why would it not turn white? I asked her
The stylist said it was because my hair was 'stubborn'
I told her to dye it white again...
She did
This time, it came out in two colors...
Pink and Yellow
And a large part of my hair had fallen off...right at the middle
When I came out of the salon, one Okada man called me Mango
I do not blame him...
Long story short
I have pictures of the shinning 'gorimakpa' I carried on christmas day
