Because the kids don't understand the bubu economy, here's how I intend to keep them busy this holiday on a budget:
1. Have a movie day: Gather the kids and watch a few movies together. You can even make it a themed movie day by picking a specific genre or film.
2. Have a game day: Board games, card games, and video games can be fun and inexpensive ways to keep kids entertained. You can make it a potluck-style game day and have everyone bring their favourite snacks.
3. Go on a nature walk: Explore a local park or nature trail and enjoy the beauty of the outdoors. This can be a great way to get some exercise and fresh air, and it won't cost you anything.
4. Have a DIY spa day: Help the kids pamper themselves with DIY beauty treatments. For example, you can make your face masks, sugar scrubs, and more using ingredients from your kitchen.
5. Have a craft day: Gather supplies and encourage the kids to get creative with arts and crafts. You can make holiday decorations and gifts for friends and family or even have fun experimenting with different materials.
Overall, the key to keeping kids busy during the holiday on a budget is to get creative and think outside the box. There are plenty of fun and inexpensive activities that kids can do that don't require a lot of money.
