Happy New Month!!! 🄳✨

How are you doing?
Yes… you. Don’t look behind you šŸ˜

I know that, ā€œI’m tired, I quit, this is not my ministryā€ feeling has visited you at least 47 times since January… if you’re like me, maybe 1 million times 🤣

But let me just whisper something in your ear real quick šŸ§šŸ¾ā€ā™€ļø
it’s just a feeling, It will pass.

Like NEPA light… it may go and come, but it won’t stay forever šŸ˜šŸ˜‚

So here’s the plan:
Call your friend and rant.
Pray small.
Cry if you need to.
Add a little dramatic rolling for effect (very important).

Then when you’re done…
wipe your tears, adjust your wig (or mindset), and go back.

Yes, GO BACK.

Because quitting is tempting, but winning is sweeter 😌

I promise you… it gets better.

Now carry your fine self and continue. We didn’t come this far to say ā€œ I QUIT.ā€ šŸ’…āœØ

Lessons from my story… and this one might save you years of trial and error šŸ‘€

Experience is the best teacher, but wisdom is learning from someone else’s journey. That’s why I’m sharing this—so you don’t have to repeat the same mistakes I did.

And if you’re currently stuck in that cycle… consider this your sign to do what needs to be done. No more delays.

If this spoke to you, don’t keep it to yourself—like, share, and follow for more real lessons šŸ’«.

Sharing a couple of lessons I learned from the story I shared in the previous post. I love how experiences shape you and your mindset. You either grow from them or you fall because of them. One thing I’ve learned over time is that your response to your experiences is often the real deal breaker.

Story continues……

Entrepreneurs… I’m sure a lot of us have stories for days when it comes to business.

Some experiences we’ve healed from.
Some were still carrying, the pain, the fear, or even the joy of it all.

Today, I’m sharing the story of what pushed me to shut my business down at a point… because I simply couldn’t take it anymore.

Running a business will test you in ways you never imagined.

But every experience teaches you something. Sometimes it breaks you, sometimes it builds you, but it always shapes how you move forward.

I’d love to hear your own stories too (share in the comment section), let’s laugh about some of them together. Because honestly, these experiences are often the lessons that make us better business owners.

Whatever the experience was, just make sure the lessons you carry forward lean more toward growth than bitterness.

I am BIG on people.
If there’s one thing I’ve been blessed with lately, it’s being surrounded by reliable and dependable staff.

But trust me… it didn’t start like this.
I’ve kissed many frogs before finding my princes and princesses šŸ˜…

One of the biggest struggles in business?
Getting people who are both competent AND reliable.

Sometimes you get reliable but not skilled.
Sometimes you get skilled but not committed.
And sometimes… Let’s just say ā€˜the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.

That’s why we keep seeing ā€œwhat I ordered vs what I got.ā€
An industry churning out unskilled hands.
People chasing quick pockets, not long-term building.

So how do we win as business owners?

One principle changed everything for me.
Before Jesus built the ministry, He built the team.
Because you cannot build alone.

I’m sharing what helped me hire right and sustain my team—even with limited resources.

This is the start of my Hiring Right Series.
If you’ve ever struggled with staff, this is for you.

I remember when I used to say ā€œjust one more order.ā€ I felt it was a taboo to turn down money, money I desperately needed, even if it meant over-promising and under-delivering. In the end, it cost me way more than what I charged.

Say NO o!
ā€œIt’s almost ready maā€¦ā€
ā€œI’ve cut it sirā€¦ā€
ā€œWe’re working on itā€¦ā€
Meanwhile, the outfit is still sitting comfortably in the same cupboard you kept it the day the client dropped it. And now they’re on their way to pick it up. 😭

You don’t want to disappoint clients, but guess what? You will if you keep overpromising.
You don’t want to turn down your friend… or you’re thinking, ā€œLet me just collect more money.ā€
But that’s exactly how everything comes crashing down quickly.

Pace yourself.
Don’t spread yourself thin and crash later.
Plan. Organize. Schedule your orders.

That’s how you stay productive and financially empowered.

How are you spending your Christmas this year?

If your looking for an outing partner I would like to let you know I’m available ā˜ŗļø

Can we be honest with ourselves for a moment?

A lot of times, we are the ones slowing down our own progress. My pastor, , said something so profound on Sunday (among many other things): ā€œYou become an easy target for the enemy when you’re standing still.ā€
It’s true — it’s much easier to hit a stationary target than one in motion.

It immediately took me back to an old Nigerian movie I watched as a child. The main character had stolen just to feed his younger brother. When the police caught him and opened fire, he didn’t freeze. He started running in a zigzag pattern, dodging bullets, and that’s how he escaped. Movement saved him.

The point is this: when you’re at a crossroads, torn between staying in the familiar or stepping into the unknown, the best gift you can give yourself is MOVEMENT. Move toward something. Anything!
Even if you fail, at least you’re learning. At least you’re growing. Most importantly, you’re not standing still.

So don’t let fear or overthinking keep you in one spot.

Because really… what’s the worst that can happen?
And what if the best is waiting on the other side of your first step? šŸ˜šŸ¤”

Either way, you never can tell until you move šŸ˜‰

What’s that one thing you have been holding yourself back from doing?
