Due to increases in the cost of materials and hardware, the Shift overalls, Everything Tote, and Big Bloom Jacket will see slight price adjustments from May 24th.

As we move into a new phase of Islet Culture, some of our general pricing will begin to reflect the realities of production.

This transition is part of building a studio practice that can continue sustainably, thoughtfully, and with care.

We’ll also be introducing new ways for our community to earn discounts and access pieces more intentionally, so stay tuned for upcoming updates.

Thank you for being here as the work evolves.

10% off for taking our survey ends this Saturday, May 1st.

This is about more than a discount though, it feeds into how we’re shaping access, not just for upcoming drops, but for everything we’re building, including how you earn and engage over time.

After Saturday, you can still take the survey but no more discount so if you’ve been meaning to fill it, now’s the time.

A belt constructed as sequence ✨

This study draws attention to the processes within the systems behind what we experience, use, and often take for granted. It asks us to look beyond the finished product and consider the many stages, decisions, materials, and hands involved in bringing something into existence.
Unlike synthetic materials such as polyester, which is derived from petroleum-based processes and shed micro-particles, natural fibres like cotton are grown, not manufactured. In addition, choosing local not only supports artisans and strengthens local economies, but also gives us greater visibility and awareness of what we consume and what’s in it.

We chose This Is Us because of how clearly they reveal the traceability of their products. Their processes can be followed from locally grown Funtua cotton to the application of natural indigo dyes from the Kofar Mata dye pits in Kano, Nigeria. That transparency made them a fitting source material for a study concerned with systems and transformation.
The belt itself is designed as a multifunctional system. Built with metal clip mechanisms, it can be easily reconfigured from a standard belt into a long strap, short strap, bracelet, or alternative forms of wear within seconds.

Available in 3 sizes;
S — 125cm
M — 133cm
L — 141cm

Our 10% survey discount closes Saturday, May 1st! ☹️

This is part of an ongoing experiment in what we make, and how we make it.
We’re trying to understand you, and what you actually respond to.

This form directly informs what Islet Culture becomes next. Right now, we’re still gathering responses because we want a clear, honest picture, but the 10% thank-you discount ends May 1st.

If you’ve been watching, engaging, buying, thinking about the work, or plan to be part of what this becomes, your input is valuable to us so this is your window to influence it.

The survey is in our bio, looking forward to hearing from you! 🤍
