I asked a question in my previous post what ' 'REDEMPTION' means now let's dive into the topic.
REDEMPTION is a powerful theme woven throughout Scripture, showcasing God's love and plan to restore humanity. Let's explore redemption with some key Bible references.

*What is Redemption?*
Redemption speaks of being bought back, rescued, or delivered – often from bo***ge or sin's consequences. Biblically, it highlights God's initiative to reconcile humans to Himself.
Following are the basic characteristics of Redemption;

In Christianity, redemption in Christ is often understood through several key characteristics:

1. *Salvation from sin*: Redemption involves being saved from the consequences of sin through Jesus Christ's sacrifice.Galantians 3vs 15
2. *Forgiveness*: Through Christ, believers receive forgiveness for their Ephesians 1:17
3. *Reconciliation with God*: Redemption brings about reconciliation between God and humanity, restoring a relationship with God.Isiah 43 vs 1
4. *New life*: Believers in Christ are said to experience a new life, freed from the bo***ge of sin. Luke 1 vs 68
5. *Grace and mercy*: Redemption is seen as an act of God's grace and mercy toward humanity.1peter chp 1 vs 18-19

Now lets ask ourselves these questions;
1. How does the concept of Redemption in Christ speak to your own life journey or struggles?

2. How might understanding Redemption in Christ shape how we navigate forgiveness, guilt or purpose in our communities?

3. How have you seen redemption impact someone's life or has it spoken to you personally?

Going through my Bible this morning and I came through a verse which is *1Corinthians 6vs 12-20*

This verse actually talks about Apostle Paul address to the Corinthians about the Missuse of Christian freedom most particularly "Sexual Immorality"

Vs 12&13
All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient, all things are lawful for me but I will not be brought under the power of any

Vs13: Meat for belly, and the belly for meats, but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord and the Lord for the body.

It further emphasises on the importance of self control and integrity

Vs 18-20 makes it known that our body is been bought with a price and it owned by Christ. Therefore , our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and belong to God and should be used to glorify him.

My question now is *How do you use your body in Glorifying God?*

Basically there lots of ways but letstalk about few
1. Purity
2. Acting with integrity
3. Demostrating Christ's love
4. Physical Health
5. Serving others/Doing good deeds

*Which of these do you demostrated?*Ask yourself the question and say this within you
Dear Father, powerful and holy God, Help me to understand that even though all things may be lawful for me, all things are not helpful. Keep me from being enslaved by anything,help me to glorify your name through all which you have given to me. (Amen)
