The Wana Sambo Brand was officially launched in December of ’10 at its first exhibition in Lagos, Nigeria. In 2013, Wana Sambo won the Ready-To-Wear Brand of the Year award at Glitz Africa Fashion Week, Ghana and was nominated in the ‘female designer of the year category at the Lagos Fashion Awards in 2014 and 2015. In 2015, Wana Sambo launched its Flagship Store in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, Nigeria,
welcoming Movie stars, Music Artists and Celebrities into her doors. The Wana Sambo Brand, since it’s inception has served an array of clientele within and outside of Nigeria with an impressive list of Celebrities, Movie and Music Stars and Socialites who we dress such as: Genevieve Nnaji, Rita Dominic, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Tiwa Savage, Chidinma Ekile, Yvonne Nelson, Jackie Appiah, Damilola Adegbite Attoh, Beverly Naya, Tomi Odunsi, Adesua Etomi, Lilian Esoro, Omawumi, Waje, Eva Alordia, MoCheddah, Simi, T**e Makinwa, Dolapo Oni, Nse Ikpe Etim, Tara Fela-Durotoye, Efya, Stephanie Coker, Adaeze Yobo, Yinka Davies, Vimbai, Ezinne Akudo, etc. The Wana Sambo Brand, has collaborated with Artists such as Darey Art Alade to create costumes for his ‘Sisi Eko’ Music video.
