As Salam Alaykun,

_"Remember your death often, for it has a wonderful tendency to restrain you from sin and endear you to the truth."_ (Imam Al-Ghazali)

Narrated: Mujahid, `Abdullah bin `Umar said, "Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) took hold of my shoulder and said, 'Be in this world as if you were a stranger or a traveler." The sub-narrator added: Ibn `Umar used to say, "If you survive till the evening, do not expect to be alive in the morning, and if you survive till the morning, do not expect to be alive in the evening, and take from your health for your sickness, and (take) from your life for your death." (Sahih al-Bukhari 6416)

DUA: O Allah, make us mindful of the fleeting nature of this life, grant us hearts that are ever aware of the moment we will return to You, and help us to live in readiness, filling our days with righteousness and remembrance and let our final breath be a testament to faith. O Allah, bless those who have gone before us with Your mercy, forgive their shortcomings, and make their graves spacious and filled with light. Aaaamin!!!

Inna liLlahi wa Inna ilayhi rajiun.

May Allah accept our brother as a true servant, forgive his shortcomings, widen his grave, and admit him into jannah

We pray Allah comfort his wives, children, and relatives and the Ummah.

He was a very resourceful personality, a da'ee and mentor to many.

His death has brought us another opportunity to reflect on the fleeting nature of the life of this world and the need for us to evaluate our existence.

He is one out of many who left this dunya yesterday.
Many more will exit today, and life goes on, but what exactly are we doing with that gift of life till it will be our turn?......
