Some dresses don’t just make an entrance, they tell a story.

This wasn’t just about creating dresses, it was about capturing a moment in time for Mrs Oluwakemi and her daughter. A mother and child celebrating life, legacy and love wrapped in the shimmer of tradition reimagined.

When I saw them in these dresses, every hour spent stitching, beading and refining felt worth it. The fabric came alive on their skin, and I was reminded that true beauty isn’t only in the garment , it’s in the grace that wears it.

I'm obsessing over Mr Kemi, our rocket client who's been slaying the custom game with me for an incredible two years strong.

What truly makes her special is her unwavering trust, her fabulous sense of style and her precision with measurements (because let's be real, accurate measurements are the secret to a perfect fit). Sometimes, a single piece of clothing can spark a lifelong love affair. Our lovely client fell in love with the draped dress we made for her last year and we were thrilled when she asked us to recreate it in a different colour.

Since making the first dress, we've had the opportunity to create the same design for other clients who fell in love with the first design. It's truly amazing to see how one piece can resonate with so many people.
