When the brief is complex...

The Infinix HOT 70 project was not your regular sublimation T-shirt job.

The concept was more than just a round neck. From the sleeves having different patterns/designs—which looked like a wave, to the text at the lower side of the shirt being in a wrapped form. Every detail had to come together perfectly. The gist on the colours is for another day sha.

In summary, a low-grade print head will not deliver a consistent output. And when you are working on a project like this, consistency is not negotiable.

We all know projects like this one are very tight on time. The goal was clear: deliver fully sublimated T-shirts before the launch of the .

Thankfully, we had the capacity to deliver before the deadline.

But beyond machines, technology and production capacity, we had something even more important: a dedicated team of men and women. (We get our own issues too ooooo )

That extra push. That extra input. That willingness to go the extra mile when the deadline is staring everyone in the face.

Na teamwork make am achievable.

While investing in machines and technology to increase production capacity is undoubtedly important, I strongly believe that investment in people tops the list.

Yes, I know people can get trained and leave the organization almost immediately. But your best team members will also be people you have invested in and developed.
They are the ones who understand the vision, believe in it and run with you.
And when they eventually leave to start something similar—or something totally different—you should be glad that you made an impact in their lives.
A little note to balance the above…

To employees: If your organisation has invested in developing you, do your best to complete your contract, if any. And if there was no bond, kindly stay a bit and make an impact before moving on.

To employers: Abeg, don’t become a god once you send someone for training. Be ready to let people leave without unnecessary drama. It can be painful, but the right systems should leave no room for EXIT drama.

At the end of the day, machines increase capacity, but people drive results.
