Back in the days a thrift collector is known to be guys who operate small savings scheme for people in rural communities. They are minimally educated and well dressed to distinct themselves from their rural clients they present.

Their dress sense are well tailored, neatly pressed apparel usually semi formal, having a crude corporate look. Their outfits are characterized with pockets for housing funds being collected and they sometimes carry man bags.
