My baby is just 5 years old and she's lovely...
Let's not go through the details of all the 'hardwork' you out in to bring that child into this world, not forgetting to thank God for safe delivery and all of that. No one can understand the joy washing the dirty clothes of your, your very own 5 year old child.
Fast forward... As your child turns five, they'll be starting to really enjoy doing things for themselves, and you probably won’t be able to get a word in between with all the things they'll want to tell you about!
Some may have started school, where they'll be spending the day learning, making new friends and creating mini-masterpieces to bring home.
All these new experiences can be challenging, but with the right support they'll be picking up loads of useful skills to help them along their five-year milestones.
Five year olds love to make up stories and by now they'll know enough words to put together some pretty impressive tales.
You'll also notice they can talk about their feelings – for example, if they've fallen out with a friend or are scared of something they'll be able to tell you about it.
