Understanding the importance of precise pattern making in creating impeccable garments is very important

To start, you need design sketches of the garments you intend to create. These will serve as your foundation for pattern development. You will also need the specific measurements and size requirements for which you would like the patterns to be created.

In order to ensure accurate and well-fitting patterns, the following information is required:

1. Front and back body measurements: The fullest and narrowest measurements of the bust, waist, and hip areas. The shoulder width, back width, and neckline measurements.

2. Sleeve measurements: For the sleeve pattern, you will need the circumference of the upper arm, elbow, and wrist, as well as the length of the sleeve.

3. Skirt or pant measurements: The waist and hip measurements is required, as well as any additional details specific to the design, such as waistband width, pocket placement, or pleat measurements.

4. Special design features: If your garments include any unique design elements such as ruffles, gathers, or pleats, kindly provide the specific measurements or details for each.

Once you have all the above necessary requirements, you proceed to drafting the patterns.
