Meet Lara. ❤️

An old schoolmate of mine who now lives in the UK, and one of those beautiful relationships that life somehow brings back around. 🥹❤️

Lara reached out to us and sent her fabrics, asking us to make beautiful pieces for herself and her baby girl.

Because she’s based abroad, we had a video call, took her measurements, and for her little girl, she simply sent us pictures and told us her age. From there, we got to work. ✂️🧵

We also sourced and bought several Ankara fabrics for her other styles, and made sure everything was properly packaged and sent to her in the UK.

And because Lara is Lara 😂❤️, she didn’t just send fabrics. She also sent dried fish, crayfish, egusi and other goodies for my mum and some other people. 🥹❤️

Then came the message every fashion designer loves to receive…

“She’s beautiful. I love every bit of it. Very beautiful and well-fitted.”

Honestly, these are the moments that remind us why we do what we do. ❤️
