I have a friend who shared his humble beginnings with me one evening and I want to start from this angle.

Years ago he had 4 friends all of them in their early to middle twenties and 5 of them formed a clique.
They shared one common goal: they wished to go outside the shores of this country to go and make it wether by hook or crook in distant greener lands because thats where their future is, it wasnt in the village in Edo state, Nigeria.

And so they came to a Pact: if anyone of us succeeds in getting out he must help the others get out too!!

And so they contributed all their efforts to send the first nominee outside the country (I cant really remember the countries each of them went to except that of my friend)
And so the next nominee, he too was successfully flown out of the country
And the next nominee too...

While the first and second were over on the other side of milk and honey lands, dey would send funds back home to their friends still at home to take care of themselves, marry and take care of their families left behind and make sure they can afford the process of securing passage out of the country.

Not long after the first 3 left, they decided and agreed that their wives and girlfriends are coming over too so these remaining two friends had to put their movement on hold and help their friends get their wives/girls over first before it came to their turn!!!

What acts of *Seflessness*, *Commitment* and *Friendship* especially in two people that are Nigerians for that matter!!!
(though my friend actually married his wife over there but she was his gal wen dey were in Nigeria)

Then the other remaining two with their wives/gals successfully made it over to the greener pastures!!!!
