Dear Prospective Fashion Design Student,

Before You Learn Fashion Design, Ask Yourself:

Why do I want to learn fashion?

How will I learn — school, mentor, or guided self-study?

What am I starting with? (Simple projects first)

Who am I becoming? (Patient and teachable)

When will I practice consistently?

👉 Start small.
👉 Practice often.
👉 Grow gradually.

Fashion is learned with the hands, not just the eyes.

Self-Wickedness: Are You Guilty?

Wickedness isn’t always external. Sometimes, it comes from how we treat ourselves and our craft.
You are being self-wicked when you:
1. Refuse to learn from your mistakes.
2. Hold onto a toxic client just because they pay well.
3. Value money above your peace of mind.
4. Operate without working hours, boundaries, or structure.
5. Ignore the need to upgrade your skills and grow professionally.
6. Ignoring feedback that could improve your work or business.
7. Overworking yourself without proper rest, thinking hustle equals success.
8. Comparing yourself constantly to others and losing confidence.
9. Failing to plan financially, leaving you vulnerable to stress and bad clients.
10. Neglecting self-care, believing your work comes before your wellbeing.

Remember: Your time, talent, and peace are worth more than temporary gains.
Protect them. Honor them.

“Wickedness isn’t always loud — sometimes it’s not paying your tailor.”

Are you a wicked client?

Wickedness is not only when you harm someone physically.
It also shows in how you treat the people who work for you.
• It is wickedness when a client refuses to pay for work already done.
• It is wickedness when a customer only brings amendment jobs but never gives you fresh work.
• It is wickedness when delivery is done and the client says, “I’ll pay later” — and later never comes.
• It is wickedness when you undercharge one tailor but pay another exorbitantly for the same work.
• It is wickedness when a customer refuses to pay for market runs, transport, or sourcing, as if it costs nothing.

Tailors are not beggars.
Our skill, time, energy, and resources matter.
Respect the craft. Respect the hands that serve you.

Kindness without boundaries will keep attracting the wrong clients.

"Aunty, tell us a story." Know that song?
Well AI wan frustrate me. But I refuse.
Third picture is more like what I wanted but two little details are missing. I gave up after many attempts to rectify. Well, glasses do hide those beautiful eyes. Also see how different necklines make you look. I wanted an off shoulder dress but it created one with cleavage. I said not my thing , oya change am to no cleavage. Aunty Gemini come give me second image. Haba no be like that na, I just no wan make you show cleavage.
Finally, I got this third image with some missing details. Biko, make I rest for now.

I totally agree. I love to air my opinion or view to AI before we brainstorm together.
