This morning as I was going through my Facebook I saw a post made by the director of beyond clothing Nigeria 🇳🇬…the post was concerning how two of his boys stole his fabric…then the post reminded me of what happened in my office on the 30th of August this year 2025.
Read to the end👇👇👇.
My heart was really filled with pain at this faithful day 💔.
As the ceo of o.c_inspirations I always have this mindset of employing young tailors who are struggling to survive. I pay them for any work done for me. I gave them a place to stay and I make sure I take care of them in my own capacity.
I always do this with love. Because I acknowledge what it means to start from scratch.
But on the 30th day of August 2025 I came to my mini industry in the morning just to witness that one of my employee has stole my two big generators, two Industrial manchine, one set of sound system and some expensive fabric. He carried out this operation around 5am early morning that faithful day.
But to the glory of God he was caught by the security personnels of (mgbuka) old motor spare parts market of anambra state. So I recovered almost everything he took from me.
But since this incident happened I have been meditating on the pain that comes when the same hand you helped turn around to hurt you.
The incident was really a painful one to me as I remember how hard I worked to get those equipments.
The incident was also painful to me because such act can discourage others who are willing to help people.
But to me, even this heart breaking disappointment will not make me to stop helping people in any way I can.
Lastly I want to encourage any young or struggling tailor out there. You must not steal or commit any other form of criminality before you make it. You have to be patient. It takes time to be successful. An empire is not built in a day. Keep staying focused. Keep working hard. One day your time will come.
