It took me months to perfect this piece, from the sketch, to choosing the right fabric, colors, and finishing details.
Funny enough, I was never a big fan of Ankara until I made one for myself… and that’s what inspired Clara.

Originally designed for our VIP customers in Port Harcourt and Onitsha, Clara quickly became a favorite , everyone loved the fabric choice and the rich look it gives. 💕

Few months ago, I was making a beautiful dress for myself for an event. I was so excited about it, carefully styling every detail.

Then one day, a lady walked into my office and said, “Do you have any ready outfit I can use for an urgent event tomorrow? Or can you quickly make one for me?”

I jokingly showed her the dress I was working on for myself. She asked the price, I said 30k (just to test her 😅).

She tried it on, it fit perfectly… and guess what? She just said, “Send me your account details.” Before I could even blink, alert entered my phone 📲💃. She said, “Please package it for me.”

E shock me ooo 😳. But it also pained me because I loved that dress so much 😭😭.
Luckily, I still have some of the fabric, but I doubt it will be enough to remake the full style again.

It is so painful 💔… The sweet lady who bought this dress from me, is no more.
My humble, kind, and rich landlady. A woman who loved me so deeply.

She supported me with her heart, patronizing me, referring customers, always checking on me like a true neighbor.
Even from her hospital bed, she still said, “When I recover, I will wear the clothes I bought from Goody.”

But sadly, she didn’t make it. I have never lost someone so dear and close to me.
This pain hurt deep😭😭.
