In every relationship, everyone wants to be loved and cared for.

Often, love isn’t about what you give or how you give it, but about how they receive it.

Love exists in two forms: the giver’s version and the receiver’s version.

These may align or conflict.

However, the giver understands their reasons for loving the way they do, while the receiver may feel unloved and try to justify that feeling.

Still, we must learn to adapt how we love and how we want to be loved.

This is because selflessness is the foundation of every healthy and growing relationship.

Many relationships break because we assume we love someone in our way, but they still feel unloved, as there is a void in their heart we have yet to discover.

I’ve seen children whose parents shower them with material and financial gifts from childhood to adulthood, yet they still feel isolated and say they are not loved enough.

This makes parents see them as ungrateful. The same applies to couples, church members, and others.

To make your love towards someone acceptable and appreciated, consider the following:
1. Individual differences:
We all differ in perspective, taste, and feelings. That’s why we understand things differently.

A healthy relationship survives if we avoid comparisons. Don’t expect everyone to think like you.

You are different. What excites you may irritate others. So, take time to understand your spouse, friends, children, parents, and congregation to love them effectively.

This isn’t about justifying their actions but about genuinely connecting.

2. Communication:
This is vital for understanding point 1.

If you notice your efforts to show love aren’t appreciated, communicate openly.

Ask how they want to be loved. This will help you discover their love languages, which vary.

These include physical touch, words of affirmation, acts of service, quality time, and giving gifts.

Someone may resonate with more than one.

For example, if you often give gifts to someone who values acts of service and quality time, they might prefer your help with chores, homework, errands, or just spending time talking or watching a movie.

Your harvest is on the way, and the celebration you long for is drawing near. Your helpers are on their way, eager to support you. Picture that beautiful moment when you hold your baby, when your appointment letter arrives, when your dreams begin to take shape.

But remember, they won’t find you if you stay down.

You are deserving of joy and success, not defined by your setbacks. Your miracle is waiting to embrace you, but not when you remain on the floor.

So, get up. Look up. Smile. Take that step forward. Try again, and soon enough, you’ll be sharing your beautiful testimony.

Don’t give up. You are loved, and your journey is far from over.

Micah 7:8 Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.

**Get Up. It Is Not Over**

Life often brings us trials and challenges that can leave us feeling weary and disheartened. 😔The truth is, each one of us desires the fruits of our labor—the joy of seeing our prayers answered, the thrill of financial investment flourishing, and the happiness that comes with starting a family. 💃

Students aspire for excellence,👩🏻‍🎓🧑‍🎓 and when we share our faith, we hope for open hearts in return.

We look forward to opportunities after job applications, and we wish for acknowledgment after pouring our hearts into helping others.👏🏻

Yet, life isn't always kind, and we can face disappointments that feel heavy to bear. It’s painful when our hopes are dashed or when we receive criticism from those we believed would uplift us.😭😭

We may find ourselves navigating through feelings of failure during times we expected success.

But in moments like these, it's important to remember that true champions don’t give up. Those who choose to walk away often become lost in their struggles, 👩‍🦯while those who persevere find strength in their journey.

It’s completely normal to feel defeated at times, but as someone destined for victory, it's important to rise again.

If your journey towards parenthood seems hopeless,😣 don’t lose hope. Stand up and try once more.

If you've been nurturing a child in faith and feel their heart drifting away, gather your strength and reach out again.

Maybe fear has held you back from exploring new relationships due to past pain. Take a deep breath, rise up, and open your heart again.

Are you frustrated by business challenges, feeling like your efforts are in vain? Don’t give up—find the courage to try again.

If your marriage feels like it’s unraveling despite your best efforts, take a stand and seek new ways to revive it.

We all have moments of struggle, and it’s okay to feel overwhelmed. Remember what God says in 2 Chronicles 15:7:
"Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded."

So, dear friend, I encourage you: Get up. Don’t give up. Try again.

To truly grasp and apply the scriptures we read, we need our spiritual eyes to be enlightened. Many know Jesus simply from tradition or routine, but there are profound revelations awaiting discovery. When the disciples were brought into a deeper spiritual realm, their eyes were opened to see Jesus in extraordinary ways. With this spiritual perspective, you’ll see Jesus not just as your savior, but as a personal friend who reveals himself in ways that resonate with your life and needs.

This shift in perspective happened to Peter, James, and John during the transfiguration when they witnessed Moses and Elijah conversing with Jesus. Only three disciples were chosen for this divine encounter. ( Matthew 17:1-9) and I trust that God will also grant you new revelations that enable you to see things you’ve never perceived about Him before.

The widow of a late prophet in 2 Kings 4 faced crushing debt and shame. She struggled tirelessly until her eyes were opened to her late husband’s legacy which is a cordial relationship with the prophet. Once her eyes were opened, the prophet Elisha revealed that the resources she needed to start a business and break free from her debt were already in her home. God will open your eyes to uncover the helpers and opportunities that surround you.

Often, we overlook the resources and support nearby due to familiarity. In Genesis 18, Abraham recognized God and his angels disguised as men, offering hospitality through spiritual awareness that led to the fulfillment of his promise with Isaac and the rescue of Lot. The help you seek may very well be right under your nose—in your home, workplace, or community.

Embrace this spiritual vision, and step into a new dimension filled with clarity and purpose. Your eyes will be opened, and you will begin to operate in the fullness of what God has intended for you.

HOW TO OPERATE IN A SPIRITUAL EYE
• Daily meditate on God’s word
• Daily fellowship with the Holy Spirit
• Pray effectively on the matter to seek divine guidance
• Be spiritually sensitive
• Obey your good instinct and promptness
• Have a good relationship with people around you
• Develop positive thinking

ANOTHER EYE.

Our eyes are designed for sight, but the physical realm is limited. No matter how healthy your eyes are, they can only perceive the visible world. However, there exists another magnificent eye that surpasses the physical—what we call the spiritual eye. This eye sees beyond the natural, perceiving things before they manifest physically. It operates independently of the health of our physical eyes.

The spiritual eye grants us insight into God’s plans that have yet to be revealed, as stated in 1 Corinthians 2:9-10: “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.”

To navigate our paths effectively and discern what is coming our way—good or bad—we must possess this other eye for spiritual vision. Jeremiah 33:3 reminds us, “Ask me, and I will tell you remarkable secrets about what is going to happen here.”

With spiritual eyes, we can uncover the past and take appropriate action. Daniel’s eyes were opened to recall and interpret a forgotten dream of his boss ( Daniel 2:1-28)
Daniel 2:22 He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.
Also, Elisha’s eyes were opened to understand the reasons behind barrenness in Jericho. There are family battles rooted deep in history that remain hidden from you. By opening your inner eyes, you can discover and conquer these challenges.

Moreover, spiritual insight is crucial for recognizing business opportunities and investments. Isaiah 45:3 declares, “And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places…”

Engaging with Jesus through spiritual eyes elevates our relationship with him. The disciples walked with Jesus physically for years, yet could not recognize him after his transformation following the resurrection. This reveals that spiritual sight allows for a deeper understanding of walking with God.

**WHAT ABOUT ME, LORD!**

These are the questions that arise when you hear testimonies from others who have been touched by your ministrations—through songs, preaching, or other acts of service done in His name.

God assigns certain messages to you not because of your own experiences or breakthroughs, but because He desires to personally minister to you, preparing you for the victories ahead and the next assignments that will manifest in your life.

You may be called to preach or prophesy fruitfulness to the barren, support a child’s education, or bring new life into the world through your medical profession while longing for your own child.

You might be tasked with preaching about financial breakthroughs when your own pockets feel empty. God may even prompt you to heal and restore others while you battle your own ailments. Consider Elijah, who was sent to minister to a poor widow moments away from suicidal thoughts. The unquestionable God empowers you to win souls even while you earnestly long for the salvation of your loved ones.
In the midst of your questions—"What about me, Lord?"—remember that He is Faithful and Just. He does not send you on these assignments to belittle you.

God's actions are intentional and often unsearchable. He is shaping you, allowing you to gain experiences that bring completeness in Him. As James 1:3 reminds us, "Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience." Trust Him and continue to serve faithfully in every circumstance.

He sees your dedication and keeps a record of your labor. He understands the silent struggles and tears you shed while celebrating others’ milestones—dedicating their babies, cars, and homes, while you await your own joy. Just as Zechariah and Elizabeth remained steadfast in their service until God blessed them with John (Luke 1:5-24), remain committed to your calling.

Do not shy away from delivering your message out of intimidation from personal experience. Instead, obey the One who calls you. Be diligent and faithful in your service to both Him and humanity.

Soon, He will minister to you, delivering a miracle that becomes a message for the world.

Call it what it is:
The day love refused to give up.

The day mercy overruled judgment.

The day grace ran red…

So we could be made White

So today…
I don’t stand here perfect.

I stand here forgiven.

Not because I earned it

But because He endured it.

And I will never look at that cross the same
again…

Because every time I see it-

I hear it whisper:

“It should have been you…

But I chose Me…

So you could be free.”

THANK YOU JESUS.

“IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ME”
Today
We don’t rush this story.
Because this isn’t just another day
This is Good Friday.
The day heaven watched…
As earth crucified love.
I want you to see Him
Not in pictures,
Not in paintings,
But in pain.

Jesus Christ…
Bruised beyond recognition.
Skin torn open by lashes that had no mercy.
A crown of thorns pressed so deep
It didn’t just pierce His head
It pierced dignity itself.
And still…
He said nothing.
Because every drop of blood had a name.
Yours.
Mine.

They spat on the One who formed their tongues.
They slapped on the One who gave them breath.
They mocked Him-
“Save Yourself!”
But if He saved Himself…
He couldn’t save me.
So He chose the cross.
Not because it was easy
But because I was worth it to Him.
The nails didn’t just go through His hands
They went through His heart.
Because every strike of that hammer
Echoed through eternity:
“This… is… for… you…”

And I can’t help but ask-
Why?
Why would a sinless Savior
Choose a guilty sinner like me?
Why would holiness
Stretch out His arms for my mess?
Why would love…
Go that far?
Because grace doesn’t make sense.
That cross;
It wasn’t just wood and nails…
It was an exchange.
My sin… for His suffering.
My shame… for His scars.
My punishment… for His pain.

IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ME.
I should’ve been the one hanging there—
Drowning in the weight of my own wrongs.
I should’ve been the one gasping for mercy
I didn’t deserve.
I should’ve been the one crying out,
“My God, why have You forsaken me?”
But He took my place.
And when darkness covered the earth…
It wasn’t just the sun hiding.
Heaven was grieving.
Because the Lamb…
Was being slaughtered.
And in His final moments -
Struggling to breathe…
Body broken…
Blood pouring…
He didn’t curse us.
He didn’t change His mind.
He didn’t come down.
He stayed.
For the liar.
For the broken.
For the addicted.
For the ashamed.
For the ones who think they’ve gone too far.
For me.
For you.

And when He finally spoke-
“It is finished.”
It wasn’t weakness.
It was victory.
Sin-finished.
Guilt -finished.
Shame - finished.
The distance between God and man?
Finished.
So don’t just call this “Good Friday”…
Like it’s just a date on a calendar.

Call it what

🚨 MEET YOUR REAL ENEMY:“EXCUSE”🎭

Be honest… what excuse have you used today?” 👀

Not yesterday.Not last week.Today.

Was it…“I’m too tired”?“I’ll start tomorrow”?“I don’t have enough yet”?

Let me tell you something you may not like…

Your biggest enemy is not outside. It’s not people. It’s not your situation.

Yes… not your village people. Not your background. Not your boss. Not even your lack of money.
👉 It’s the excuse you keep entertaining.

It is the real enemy quietly sabotaging your life.

And guess what? It doesn’t look dangerous. It doesn’t shout. It doesn’t attack.
It whispers.

“You’re too tired…”“Start tomorrow…”“You don’t have enough yet…”“Others are better than you…”“It’s not the right time…” "she is the reason you failed".....

Sound familiar? 👀

Excuse is a master of disguise. It can dress like logic, sound like reason, and feel like comfort.

But behind that gentle voice is a thief—stealing your dreams, delaying your progress, and shrinking your potential.

🎭 HOW EXCUSE OPERATES

Excuse doesn’t care about your age, class, or background.

To the young, it says: “You still have time.”

To the old, it says: “It’s too late.”

To the rich, it says: “You might lose what you have.”

To the struggling, it says: “You don’t have enough to start.”

It studies you.It knows your fears. It uses your past failures as evidence.
And the most dangerous part? It makes you feel justified.

🧠 HOW TO RECOGNIZE IT

Pause and check yourself:
Are you always waiting for perfect conditions?
Do you start things but never finish?
Do you blame time, people, or circumstances constantly?
Do you “explain” instead of “execute”?

That’s not coincidence. That’s Excuse at work.

🔓 HOW TO BREAK FREE

Call it out. Stop dressing it nicely. Say it as it is:👉 “I’m making an excuse.”

Act immediately.
Excuse thrives on delay.

Action kills it. Even small steps matter.
Embrace discomfort.

Growth is uncomfortable.

Excuse sells comfort.
Choose growth.
Hold yourself accountable.

No more blaming.
Own your life—fully.

You don’t need more time. You don’t need more resources. You don’t need perfect conditions.

You need to defeat Excuse.
