A seam "ripper" as you see me holding in this photo is used to rip where you've sewn (in order to create defining features, like clean buttonhole openings and perfect edges), or where you didn't sew(when in careless hands where it tears through fabrics and leaves lasting d@m@ge 💔 ).

The same goes for life, "reaping" where you didn’t sow might seem easy, but it often leaves behind chaos and scars that take time to mend, whereas reaping where you sow brings peace and satisfying hearts especially when the seeds have produced good and bountiful fruits.

Here are 5 powerful ways fashion design as a craft and lifestyle can impart your life;

1. Creativity Spike: You enjoy transforming mere ideas into wearable outfits, thereby filling up your pipeline at all times without having to worry so much about the designs what designs "ate" and those that flopped.

2. Patience, Discipline and Focus: You come to a non-negotiable term with the currency of time and how well to invest it.

3. Emotional Freedom: You adapt and express feelings (whether yours or the feelings of others) through pieces of Fabrics put together to take bodily forms. This is also where you realize the therapeutic energy in sewing.

4. Confidence: The knowing alone that you can function beyond trends or clothing stores raises your self worth and trust in self. It allows you become an authority in the field, your opinions are sought after and held unto.

5. Financial Freedom: Of course I wasn't going to end without pointing out finance. There's this notion that money that comes from the craft doesn't make one wealthy overnight. However, I think with being a fashion entrepreneur rather than being only a fashion designer, you rise way above the limitations of this notion.
