JUSTICE FOR RURUMA: A CALL TO ACTION

The world bears witness to the devastating siege on Ruruma community of Kauru LGA in Kaduna State, Nigeria, perpetrated by the Fulani militia. This heinous attack has left a trail of destruction, despair, and death, claiming the lives of many innocent indigens. The international community can no longer ignore these atrocities.

The Fulani militia's relentless onslaught has transformed Southern Kaduna into a war zone, with indigenous people living in constant fear of attack. The Nigerian government's inaction has emboldened these perpetrators, allowing them to roam with impunity and wreak havoc on innocent civilians.

We hold the Kaduna State Government and Federal Government accountable for their failure to protect the lives and properties of innocent citizens. The continued slaughter of our people is unacceptable. We demand:

- Immediate Protection: Provide adequate security measures to safeguard lives and properties.
- Thorough Investigation and Prosecution: Ensure that those responsible for these heinous crimes are held accountable and face the full force of the law.
- Concrete Measures to Prevent Future Attacks: Implement measures to prevent future attacks and protect our communities.

We urge the international community to lend its voice to our cries for help. We demand that the Nigerian government fulfill its primary responsibility to protect its citizens. The world must stand in solidarity with us, advocating for the rights and safety of our people.

We will not be silenced. We will continue to speak out against these atrocities, demanding justice and protection for our communities.
