This skirt was my first attempt on slash and spread😃 it was made few weeks into my upgrade course, it came out as expected sha.

The top was my first trial of bust dart method of basic bodice pattern😀 see how well it fits☺️.

I will be dropping videos of pattern drafting here this week, I'm not sure of the one I'm starting with yet.

I made this mistake in business one time;

I tried to add a particular type of fabrics to my fabric business,
I posted pictures of them online and few person's indicated interested.

I went to the market over stock the fabrics hoping more customers will buy when they see the fabrics in the store then I bought less of my usual type of fabrics I'm known for.

When they arrived I sold few and I saw that the fabrics I was known for was the once that were ordered for the more.
The worst thing was that I had stocked less of the fabrics and the new type of fabrics I invested more in wasn't selling fast enough for me to make turnover with the money.

I ended up selling most of them below the sale price and even at that it still didn't sell fast .

Lack of focus will hurt you, stay one place small first.
Pick one thing execute it well.

I learnt the hard way.
