THE PARADOX OF LOVE
Something we desperately crave yet would run from at the very sight of it—to love and be loved.
Don’t get me wrong, love is a beautiful thing. There’s nothing to cherish more than the idea of loving someone and being loved in return. Love nurtures and grows, especially if you’re fortunate enough to find someone who chooses you just as much as you choose them.
But loving someone who doesn’t reciprocate those feelings, or who leaves you uncertain, can be incredibly draining. You might find yourself doing anything to prove your worth, often at the expense of your own happiness. In the process, you risk losing yourself.
It’s a delicate dance, isn’t it? The desire for connection pulls you in one direction, while the fear of vulnerability pushes you away. Yet, despite the risks, the hope for genuine love remains a powerful force.
