In tailoring, speed is good — but precision is better.
Some fabrics require patience, understanding and steady hands to bring out their full beauty.

This piece is another testament to the value of taking one’s time to get the details right.
How does it look to you? 👇🏽

Let’s have a quiet conversation about consistency.

We often hear people say “being consistent is difficult.”
But when you look closely, the challenge is rarely the act of showing up itself —
It is the desire for immediate results.

We live in a time where progress is expected to be fast.
Where effort is judged quickly.
Where patience seems old-fashioned.

Yet, every meaningful achievement still follows the same principle:
Commitment over time.

When Thomas Edison was working on the light bulb, he didn’t arrive at success in a single attempt.
There were trials, adjustments, and lessons along the way.
His breakthrough came because he continued — even when nothing seemed to be changing.

That is what consistency truly is:
Choosing to remain committed, even when the results are not yet visible.

So I’ll leave you with a question:
What would happen if you simply keep showing up?

Just something to reflect on.

On a lighter note — what’s your honest opinion on this cap?
Hit or miss? 🧢😊

🪡 Sometimes, people judge your setup before they understand your skill.

Not everyone will see things from your angle, and that’s okay — just keep building, pushing, and showing up.

Some advised me to use AI or look for a better setup to take my pictures. I understand them, but I still choose originality.

Like the Bible says in 1 Timothy 6:6 — “But godliness with contentment is great gain.” I prefer being real over trying to impress.

Some have fine setups and machines — though not all — but their works don’t match. A clean background can never replace a clean job.

To every small start-up out there — keep showing up, your time will come. 💪🏾✂️

This humble tailor wey no dey disappoint dey root for you. ❤️

Not to show off, but to document a journey.

In recent days, I’ve been sharing pictures of my works — both old and new — not because I’m the best, but because I believe my craft deserves to be seen.

Someone once commented, “If this is the background you choose to use, use it wholeheartedly and stop seeking pity.”
That comment made me realize how easily people can misunderstand a person’s story.

I’m not seeking pity — I’m simply building from scratch, with God’s grace, a kneeling mom, and a standing dad.
My goal is to inspire others who are creating something out of little, reminding them that growth is still beautiful, even when the background isn’t perfect.

To everyone working without support — keep showing up.
Your story matters, your work speaks, and the world will see you soon.

This life no really balance ohh. 😅

Yesterday, I made a post explaining why I often take pictures of my work inside our farm. I said people shouldn’t look down on my background — instead, they should support me in their own little way.

Many people encouraged me. Some even said my background makes my pictures look unique 🌿.
But as usual, not everyone will see things from your point of view — a few still dropped negative comments. I didn’t let it bother me because my vision is clearer than their opinions ✨.

But one comment really touched me.
The person said:

“You wey dey complain say people dey talk about your background, she wey get shop and good place to display her work no even get customers to sew for.”

That line humbled me. It reminded me that truly, this life no balance. While one person dey pray for wetin you get, you fit dey complain about the same thing.

We all have our battles, challenges, and limitations — but very few people look beyond them. The truth is, your vision has to be bigger than your limitation 💭.

So this post is for everyone still finding their path.
Don’t wait till you have everything before you start. Start with what you have, and keep building till you reach the dream you see in your heart 💪🏽.

I’m holding the light for all of us still on this journey 🔥.
May our little beginnings grow into beautiful stories that inspire others. ✨

And remember — life fit no balance, but your wardrobe suppose 😅.
So get this black piece from Jay’s Klothing today and let your style find the balance it deserves 🖤.

I know my background may not look perfect, but my work speaks class. ✂️
This small space is the only place I currently have to showcase my craft, and I won’t let what I don’t have stop me from expressing the talent God gave me.

Starting and running a fashion brand without financial support is never easy. You do everything yourself — from sewing and designing to snapping, posting, and still keeping your passion alive. But I believe every great story starts from humble beginnings.

To those who notice the background more than the work, please, I ask for encouragement instead of criticism.
And to those who believe in me — thank you.
You can support by:
👉 Referring clients
👉 Sharing my work
👉 Or helping me in any little way — every bit counts towards building my dream workspace.

To every hustler and creative out there starting small — don’t give up. Keep your focus clear, your heart humble, and your dreams alive. One day, we’ll all look back and smile at how far we’ve come. 🌟

My good people, una good morning inside this fine Friday morning. 🌞

E get one gist wey dey fly around about one lady wey person patronize because she attend one big fashion school. The client trust her say she go deliver but everything go south when she deliver the clothes — and the funniest part be say she still charge the client like say na Versace she sew! 😂

See ehn, I always talk am — Tailoring no be about where you learn, but how you learn.
Some people dey lucky to attend the best fashion schools like that lady, yet their work still get as e be. Meanwhile, some of us wey learn for places wey no even get signboard dey produce works wey go make you freeze! (I fit talk am because I be example).

The place wey I learn from, e no fine, but my boss too sabi the work. Still, some apprentices wey learn there no fit sew proper welt pocket (back pocket) before dem commot. But as for me, I no stop there. I see tailoring beyond the four walls of that shop and beyond wetin I was taught. I chase growth because I refuse to remain stagnant while others dey move forward.

So I go talk am again loud and clear:
👉🏽 SEE TAILORING BEYOND THE FOUR WALLS OF THE FASHION SCHOOL AND BEYOND WHAT YOU ARE TAUGHT — SEEK GROWTH. 💪🏽

By the way, who know any better fashion school make me seff go get experience small, so I go attract big clients — me too need money oh! 😄

I remain your humble tailor wey no dey disappoint. ✂️
