The first time I made a male dress for a customer, was for my colleague in the office. But guess what, I made it for free. I wasn't confident it will come out nice, so I told him...not to worry, I will sew it for free..what are friends for😀

I have always wanted to learn male dress making not for business but for my boys. I have spoilt many fabrics trying to make clothes for them...but got discouraged after some time....

Fast forward to last year when my boss, friend🙄 and fashion priest himself Redefined Clothing came to port harcourt to train us on how to make male dresses for 3 weeks.....the fire was rekindled. 💃💃
During the training, I was doing my homework and class practicals back to back🥲 without rest.
I started making for my boys, my dad and then my husband. 👍
.....After I gave my colleague the dress I made for him, he thanked me and said...let me fit it at home will let you know if there are amendments. So I waited for his call till the next day to no avail, I decided to call.☹🙃

Immediately his phone rang, my mind skiped😀🙉...in my mind (you will pay if you spoil that dress) but he picked and said jenny the dress is fine...huuuhhhhh, I had a deep breath of relief. 😂😂😂

After then I started accepting male dresses and kept improving on myself.
I am no where close to where I want to be yet, but I can boldly applaud myself.. Yes, I am doing well.

I dedicate this to my husband.🍾...He has been my rock on this journey.👌...my greatest cheerleader always motivating me.🖐👍 His appraisals after the first dress I made for him pushed me to do more 🥰🥰
