Most people see a blouse… but don’t notice what went into making it fit perfectly 😄🪡💛

This is one of my recent bustier blouse works, and I’m finally sharing it here.

Behind this piece is careful work on bust shaping, neckline balance, and fitting correction to achieve a clean and flattering finish.

Every detail was cut and assembled with precision to ensure comfort, structure, and elegance in wear.

I’ll be sharing parts of the process soon — because there are real sewing lessons hidden in this blouse that many overlook.

Sometimes, the stress we try to avoid today may become the bigger stress tomorrow.

Yesterday, after getting home, I realized I forgot a customer’s cloth at the workspace — a cloth I had planned to finish up at home for delivery today.

For a moment, I felt tired and discouraged about going back. But if I hadn’t gone back to pick it up:

👉 I wouldn’t have had a restful night.
👉 I wouldn’t have finished the outfit as scheduled.
👉 Today’s work plan would have been affected.
👉 Work meant for today would have crossed over into next week.
👉 Delay, stress, and pressure would have built up gradually.

That moment reminded me that small acts of discipline today often create tomorrow’s peace.

Sometimes, solving a problem immediately is easier than carrying the weight of postponement.

✨ Sewing Tip ✨

This small adjustment can save your bustier fitting.

When cutting a bustier, the center front neckline should be raised by about ½ inch.

Also, the side front bust curve is usually more curved than the center front bust curve.

Because of this difference, an extra ½ inch is often needed to accommodate any inequality that may occur after joining the front parts together.

How the little things around us speak volumes still amazes me.

This morning, while filling my water bottles, I noticed the water kept overflowing.
So I made up my mind that it wouldn’t happen again. This time, I paid closer attention to the process… and the waste stopped.

Aaaah… quite amazing 😍

One of the decision I made was to lock my hair. Yes o 🤣 and I thank God I did.

Due to my busy workload to sit down and plait my hair was a big problem. It takes me week or weeks to loose an old hair for me to plait another. I would look unkept like I'm the only one carry the problems of Nigeria on my head. 🤣

I got tired and I made up my mind to either cut or lock my hair. I said I'll lock if it's not that painful and if it does, I'll cut. End of discussion! 😀

Fair enough, the locking was easy and that was how I became an 'artificial dada'🤣 Two years down the line 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Now I'm free like the 🐦 At least all worries that come with plaiting of hair had disappeared 👏 This was a great relief for me. No more worries about what hair to wear every week or bi-weekly.
✍️I can focus more.
✍️Better concentration .
✍️Self confidence intact.
✍️Elegance and beauty on point .
✍️I'm restful 🥰

Some simple decisions can change our lives for better. No matter what situation we may find ourselves, there's always a way out. As controversial as Dread lock can be, for me; it's my peace of mind 🥰
