Joel Dim marks a new chapter with the reopening of its flagship store in Port Harcourt—a reimagined space that reflects the house’s continued evolution and its commitment to craftsmanship, culture, and modern luxury.
Designed under the creative direction of Chigozie Joel Dim , the flagship translates the spirit of old-world tailoring into a distinctly Port Harcourt expression. Rich textures, warm lighting, and carefully curated interiors create a destination that feels both timeless and unmistakably rooted in the city.
Spanning two floors, the space unfolds with deliberate character. The ground floor is dedicated to made-to-measure tailoring—a refined environment where heritage, precision, and craftsmanship take centre stage. Above, the atmosphere shifts into a quieter rhythm: an intimate lounge designed for conversation, reflection, and hospitality.
Upon entering, guests are welcomed by dark wood panelling and the illuminated Joel Dim signature. A vintage sewing machine stands as a tribute to the house’s beginnings, while croc-embossed leather finishes and sharply tailored displays reinforce the brand’s dedication to enduring quality.
Upstairs, boucle seating, olive drapery, and warm natural materials create a softer expression of luxury. A coffee station and mini bar invite guests to linger, while monstera foliage, carved wood artworks, and vintage furnishings introduce warmth, texture, and a sense of place. Framed images celebrating Port Harcourt add another layer of identity, grounding the flagship in the city that inspired it.
Within this new setting, Joel Dim’s collections—from tailoring and leather goods to signature caps—are presented not simply as products, but as expressions of a lifestyle shaped by craftsmanship, heritage, and contemporary elegance.
