DAY 18 and 19th missed, should we say that I haven't yet mastered the act of consistency? Sometimes some situations are inevitable it reminds us once more that we are humans, life happens anyway, regardless we move to this day.

On the 20th Day of September I'm telling the story of a woman, a woman who is open to everyone, a woman who is truly a mother, when I say a mother, she embodies the qualities and attributes of a "Mother"

This woman is worth talking about because she's one of the reason we also have Emue's Couture moving, the assistance, the prayers, the love, care and support.

I will always ask this woman " can I be like you" because it's not easy being her, she forgives quickly, knows how to give the best words of advice, the sacrifices ahh😭😭 I can't even count them.

This woman never fails to mention the names of every relative and pray for them, how our friends prayer request becomes hers, everyone that comes into the house is received as a child, with open hands she shares her belonging.

This woman has been a single parent for 22years of her 60 years on Earth, with 12 blessed children and I'm one of them, I remember whenever every family is to pay money in church, she still make sure she pay for all children even the ones that are already married, she will count all her children and pay for them in absential, I guess you already know the woman " MY MOTHER"

Today I celebrate a virtuous woman, a kind mother, a mother with the heart of Gold, welcome to 60 and I wish you many more fruitful years and you will witness Emue's Couture flourish in Jesus name, Amen.

Mother's sacrifices and impact are one of the reasons any child will prosper and grow in Life.

On the 17th Day of September I noticed how far we have grown, I can see the improvement, I can see the difference in the job, we have always prioritized neat jobs but we surely have improved over time, we have made mistake, we have learnt and we are still learning.

The first slide is a dress we made in 2018 and the other we made it in 2025, we have improved over years.

DAY 16

It's almost 4 months my customers in the market haven't seen me after my wedding 🤭 I have a special line in igbudu market ( UNITY LINE) where I have known so many of them for some years now and I have a special mama ooo, I have been buying fabric from her for almost 6 years now.

They were happy to see me and I was also happy too to see them, one of the beautiful women I buy Pure cotton Ankara from gave me one Ankara as a gift 😁😍 and I can't wait to sew a very beautiful style with it.

My DAY 16 was market filled 😁 I took some of our kids ready to wear along and we sold some of them, as I was selling them, those my mama were just saying " awnn Emuesiri husband is blessed oo, he marry better woman, she get hand work, this and that"

Those moment reminded me that people watch you and see you, the way you talk, the way you dress , your act of service, your manner of Communication and many more, these are some of the things that sums up to what people perceive of you, for almost 6 years If not more than,they have seen how I act every single time I showed up.

Dear friend, what do people see in you, what can they say about you? Do you show Christ? Can they say that you're Christ like ?

DAY 15, wow wow ooo we are really doing this😭

I'm so happy doing this, it looks small but this is me documenting my journey and learning over and over again from my own story, Let's tell a recent story, oya come close...

Someone's refered us for a job and we were given the job to make gowns for some blessed teens but guess what?

I made a mistake, this mistake cost me a lot of time and resources, I almost gave up but thank God I didn't give up really, I never knew that what I have been building will be tested in this way, over the years we have prioritize customer satisfaction.

We made sure our customers can trust us enough always, we don't disappoint like the regular words attached to tailors, nah.. we don't, never did I know that when I'm tried with a bigger challenge I will look beyond the stress and extra cost, those little attitude still played out , every step you take really matters they say, the little things we do build us up and we become what we practice daily and I'm excited about it because giving up and disappointment is something we have been careful about.

So to the outfit... we made a mistake, yes! The mistake was our fault but at that moment I would had suggested ". Ooo please they should manage it" this and that but we took it upon ourselves to correct evey single one, we had to get new fabrics just to satisfy our client and this moment for us wasn't easy but it worth it, it reminded me that every step i take today is a step to how I will act when I'm faced with bigger challenges.

At the end of the job I was glad we were able to meet up and also make those changes, I was glad that we didn't disappoint the couple who referred us really.

APPRECIATION is an APPLICATION for more they say.

Oo my Sonia as I fondly call her, there's this thing about me, when I like you I add my to your name, I even say my mother even when it's doesn't need " my" to be added, as if somebody is dragging her with me 😂😂

Ooo Sonia Ihemkworobiri, this young lady stayed with me and helped managed my business, while I was still in school, because of her I was able to maintain my customers, I was able to stay in business without break, she knew everyone of my customer we get fabrics from, God used her to bless me really, I can't deny the fact that she was of great help and strength to me, i can't pay you back but I will surely give you one Urhobo man 😂😂

To my Pastor and his dear wife Osazee Samson, thank you for giving me the chance to show what we can do, thank you for making your space available for our kid's Fashion Show 2024, without the space we wouldn't had have the day, thank you for referring us for Aprons Jobs, thank you for your prayers and support.

To my darling friend Emuejevoke Oboro she reminds me of my dream and vision, my earliest colleague in sewing but know a very good make up artist, in my earliest years of sewing, we had our machine in one place, we where sewing together, you wouldn't know how valuable it is to have someone by your side, when you want to give up on that job but you just can't because someone is there to give you strength, thank you for always seeing the bigger picture of Emue's Couture, thank you for being that friend who also patronize us.

How can I forget my very own madam Nwokocha she was the one who gave me Emuegidigba😂 to tell you, we de gidigba ooo😋, if not for her the knowledge I have in sewing today wouldn't be, thank you ma for all the times you said I should loose those dresses because of one mistake, I saw it as unfair then but no no it has shaped the way I do my work now, everyone of my client can testify that we do neat job, I'm glad for the training process.

Kelubia Ishioma my dear friend, thank you for all the times your sent style Inspiration to me, to support my kids brand, thank you for being a business partner then in school , thank you for believing in my ideas...

On DAY 13 of telling our story, who said consistency was easy, oya try it 😄

I'm very happy I'm doing this because I'm also learning a lot during this process, it's a good thing as my name implies 😁 Day 13 is the day that the job that almost made me run but nah we don't do that here oo, the group we made those outfits for wore it but that's not yet our focus, some other day we will tell...

We will love to continue the shout to some of the persons that have contributed to this journey but we will continue on day 14.

My every member of my Family and extended family o Lord I can't pay them at all, they are all wonderful, for their support, love and care towards my brand and to My darling husband he said babe road side shop doesn't fit you at all and got me my first official space 🫣 O Lord 😭😭 all I see is your love.
